Star Wars Legacy – Is Darth Krayt a Jacen Solo descendant? March 29, 2007

Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.
Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.
But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.
1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?
There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.
2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?
Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.
4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?
The answer will be revealed in issue 15.
Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .
My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.
Anyone want to take that bet?

Actually, if you add it all up, there’s one possibility that no one seems to have considered…
Nom Anor.
If Onimi could use shaper abilities to open himself to the Force, why couldn’t Nom Anor have done something similar. This would be just the kind of scam he would pull, we all think he died, the timeframe for when he started his empire fits, and he would have a serious beef with anyone other than himself. Darth Bane would consider this a mockery of all that his Sith stood for, and it would be a well-known character that no one would expect.
I don’t know, just a theory
DK is one of those self less sith and if DK was Nom Anor he would be corrupt and selfish. I am starting to think that whoever it is is someone who was deeply affected by the Vong War and his armor is not what we think it is rather his armor is the result of some terrible Vong biolife incident.

as ive said anakin died in a cloning facility.when bane and the others screwed with him and his armor took over he became voxyn. look at the pic on wookiepedia. its fromthe comic. please folks check it out. hes not a crab

Well then do u think DK is really Anakin or a clone of Anakin. I dont think they would ever make a Dark Lord a clone. I used to think DK was absolutely Anakin but now I am thinking it could be someone else. George Lucas wanted Anakin to die on purpose which is kinda stupid but thats the brakes. Also someone pointed out on this site that DK is a dark horse character. This most likely means that DK is gonna be a character who has appeared in Dark Horse comics. I think Anakin was in an issue of Star Wars Tales but thats about it and that doesnt really cut it. I still hope he is DK because it would make for a good story.
I think Snape is a bad guy who wants both Harry AND Voldemort Dead… Oh wait wrong Board… Anyway the Jury is still out on Krayt until Legacy 15 but I think it most likely a Solo Whether Anakin or Jacen.
look at the tattoos on darth krayt’s chin, then look at the tattoos on a’sharad hett’s chin (the tusken raised human jedi). hett went back to tattooine after order 66 to wage his own war on the sith. What if somewhere along the line a’sharad turned to the very thing he was fighting to destroy? he is also from tattooine and young tuskens hunt krayt dragons as a passage to adulthood.And he fought at genosis, and he was already a jedi master by the foundation of the empire which explains the extended lifespan. think about it- it makes sense…
it makes sense but hett is a third rate character. hes not of vaders blood.
Y does DK have to be of Vader’s blood. Chances are DK is gonna be a Dark Horse created character. Hett seems to have all the right qualities though I do agree it would be stupid to make him DK.
how about a son of obi wan?
I dont think theres a ghost of a chance that obi-wan ever had a son, he was a dedicated jedi and jedi arent allowed to have relationships, with very few exceptions such as Kit Fisto+Aayla Secura.
