Fringe Season 5: Why We Hope It will Be the Best Season EVER September 26, 2012

Yes we loved the first three seasons of Fringe.

We did not like (most of) Season 4 though – it just didn’t make sense – did it?

that’s why we can’t hardly wait for Season 5 to get started…it has a chance to right the wrongs of Season4 and end this show on string of awesomeness.

The first three seasons were all about the ‘pattern’ the alternate universe and closing the gap. The fourth was about….? what? it was all over the place. If the show had ended right at the end of the third season it would have worked for us.

But the show still has legs, Walter is still an amazing character (as are peter and olivia) and the future world where Peter has just been thawed out from the amber that Season 4 will be all about is really really cool.

here’s our first sneak peak at the first episode and it’s looking sharp. Fringe, Season 5 – Fringe starts this Friday.

Olivia isn’t going to stay in the alternate universe for long…or is that Bolivia? (alternate Olivia)??

In any event FRAK baseball, Fringe is Baaack!!

Fringe Season 3 premiere – Glatterflug and Walternate September 23, 2010

Glatterflug – daily flights to the moon?

The other side is an amazing place and there are all kinds of little things that make it different – the glatterflug sign – was one such gem.

But having nearly an entire episode just about Olivia on the other side? yeaaah that was actually alright. Olivia is awesome and one of the key reasons why we watch the show..

The other key reason of course is Dr. Bishop – now having him as the serious secretary of state, just doesn’t work…but that’s the point isn’t it?

Walternate – at the alternate universe Walter – what a great name…

Fringe – Over There – is one freaky place with Fringe division of Department of Defence May 14, 2010

Over There – a parallel Earth where Olivia Dunham is an auburn haired vixen, broils is a colonel and fringe division is part of the Department of Defence is one weird place.

And oh yeah, Walter Bishop is not a nutcase, he’s the Secretary of Defence.

Talk about a freakshow mirror universe.

What I want to know though, is how do they plan on getting back to the other side? Will Dr. Bell help? and why isn’t the fabric of Crazy Walter’s Earth ripped too? Or is that all part of the Pattern that we were supposed to be following in the first place?

Fringe – Olivia. In the Lab. With the Revolver. April 9, 2010

So Olivia isn’t going to tell Peter he’s from the other side??

Looks like Dr. Bishop himself will spill the news eventually..but more shocking is Agent Broyles really a Massive Dynamics employee? and we still don’t know the deal with Nina Sharp/ Walter and Peter – is she peter’s real mother?

Overall –Olivia. In the Lab. With the Revolver. was another fine episode – with a freak that can give ppl cancer just by touching them –

Fringe’s Olivia Dunham – Anna Torv- like you’ve never seen before (topless wearing mens thermal underwear) February 10, 2010

I don’t know what’s up with this trend for having women from SciFi shows posing in risque positions for men’s magazines.

The latest actress is Fringe’s Agent Olivia Dunham – played by actress Anna Torv.

In this month’s esquire she got a whole spread of topless pics – while wearing mens thermal underwear.

Why? is it really that cold on the set of Fringe?

We don’t know – but if you’re interested –

Here’s the link at Esquire to see the whole thing.

Fringe – Olivia Knows Peter is from the OTHER side February 4, 2010

So at long last Olivia know has the power to see things from the other side…

and months after the rest of us…

She finally knows that Peter doesn’t belong.

Big question of course now is what will she do about it?

I suspect that at some point SOON Peter will find out.

The thing that bothers me the most about Peter being from another universe is the fact that there is also another Walter Bishop – didn’t that Walter Bishop then loose his son too?

fringe.2 Great to have Fringe back, and another fine episode.

So now we know the CIA and Russians have a play in the pattern too.

Somehow the cosmonaut that Broils shot is still alive and now in space somewhere with the ‘shadow’ with him – a really neat idea overall.

Is the Shadow related to the watcher? We’ll see.

Also really neat to see Broils on the family side, he always comes off as such a hard a$$, good to know he might not always have been that way.

Fringe Season Finale Shocker, Peter is really dead May 14, 2009

Alright not a spoiler anymore the show was on tuesday night…

Peter is really dead. How about that!! Walter had to pull  him over from an alternate reality…but doesn’t that mean that someone else is missing Peter?

Neat to see Leonard Nimoy – albeit briefly and kind of eerie to have his office in the World Trade Center.

But hey we know this show has been renewed so in a few short months we’ll know what the frak is going on!

Fringe : Harris works for ZFT May 6, 2009

Last night’s episode of Fringe,  The Road Not Taken
got rid of Olivia’s closest enemy agent Harris.

We had him pegged for being a douche but we didn’t see it coming that he was ZFT.

The whole firestarter thing was really cool too, i wonder if Olivia can do the same thing? Notice how in the room where they ignited the twin there was one of those light boards that ZFT uses to test recruits…so we’ll have to see

And nice shout out to Spock / Star Trek in this episode too…next episode Nimoy himself will finally appear.

Not sure how the Watcher fits in..but clearly Walter was expecting him.

Fringe Renewed for Season Two!! Proof that FOX Knows a great show when they see one May 5, 2009

Without a doubt Fringe is the best new SciFi show of the past year. The characters are interesting, deep and entertaining. The plots are well constructed and full of twists.

The pacing of the shows is great, without too much dead weight or prancing around.

We all love Walter and Olivia is well she’s just awesome.

Now Fox has officially announced that they have renewed Fringe for a second season..which is great news.

Fringe is not Sarah Connor Chronicle which isn’t a good show and likely will get cancelled by Fox.

Dollhouse on the other end is an excellent show and we here at ShowMeSciFi have our fingers crossed that Fox sees the light and doesn’t destroy another Joss Whedon production.

So ZFT is run by William Bell? RLY??

That was the big revelation in last night’s episode Midnight
, but another fine freak’ish scientific mix too.

The only cure for the vampire is spinal fluid..that’s one that i hadn’t heard off before.

Clearly this show is headed toward one massive season finale.

Fringe : Olivia’s Bad Dream : Walter is a liar! April 22, 2009

Last night’s episode Bad Dreams was another great piece of the pattern puzzle.

So we know that Olivia (or should we call her Olive?) was experimented on as a child..now we know it was Walter and Leonard Nimoy who were directly involved!

Amazing how everything comes back to Walter in this show? It’s actually a little annoying at this point.

How can the whole be pattern be about Walter?

Then again Walter is a whack job…and a character that we all love.

Great to hear the voice of Leonard Nimoy in this episode too...soon enough we’ll see him as William Bell founder of massive dynamics

Last night’s episode of Fringe, titled the Inner Childwas pretty freaky..
oh and great to have the show back after its two month hiatus too.

So who was the boy? Is he a ‘little watcher’? Guess we’ll find out..but clearly he’s part of the pattern.

And Walter…oh Walter in fine form. He had so many good lines in this episode ..perhaps the funniest…
I’m sure agent Dunham has seen a penis before.

Tonight’s Fringe was yet another awesome episode. And it was an episode that was completely different than last week’s No Brainer episode

Olivia ends back in the Tank! its kinda like taking a bath for her..

But the biggest revelation of course is that John Scott is still not in the ground (we kinda knew that) and more importantly he wasn’t a traitor. Was this Conrad guy the same one that was responsible for the bio-weapon that ended up in the first episode of Fringe (i think so).

Is John Scott actually dead?

Well….we’ll see won’t we..but somehow I don’t think this is the last we’ll see of John Scott.

Can a computer program liquify your brain?

On Fringe it can!

Neat concept and another solid episode…not sure how that first into the pattern…other than perhaps Mr. Dempsey has sold the program to someone connected to the pattern.

The parallel plot with Walter meeting the mother of his dead lab assistant was a nice touch too.

And what’s going on between Olivia’s sister and Peter? Looked like some sexual tension to me…only a matter of time till the two of them hook up.

Fringe – Bound. This is one great show January 20, 2009

Tonight’s episode was awesome wasn’t it?

Olivia escapes her captors with nothing more than a glass of water, kill a fellow agent’s wife and somehow figures how everything fits together.

Sure this show can be a little weird – but it does make sense in the end. Without a doubt Agent Dunham is the key character in this show and she’s one tough cookie.
