FRINGE: Donald is an Observer!!! Biological Reversion January 11, 2013

Why donald? because of Donald O’Connor in Singing in the Rain.

And Donald is the ORIGINAL observer that helped Walter in the beginning…NOW HTAT MAKES SENSE!! His name is really September??

Now we all know about the Observers – emotion is the flaw. The observer child Michael is Donald’s son…another wow.

AND the way to save human is to send the boy from the future that was sent back to the past forward to the point in the future where humans decide to eliminate emotion…ok that’s cool too.

The boy is important he must live – you were referring to your son and not mine – Donald.

NOW how will this all end? only a pair of episodes left and somehow donald/september and Michael will come together, walter will die and the world will be free

Instead of running Nina Sharp stays put and holds here ground. We never really thought all that much of Nina either way but after tonight’s episode, we have a different view.

and now we know that ‘Michael’ was just an anomaly .. a boy that went missing.

‘Why are you not frightened?’ Windmark

In reality you’re the animal – nina sharp.

Wow – what an amazing last stand for a core character… seems a whole lot more heroic than poor Etta

That was one crazy – TRIPPY – episode.

Yes we know that Walter dropped acid, but what a crazy trip,

and who is Donald? we still don’t know. Why did the radio just started working now? If they activate every 5 days why didn’t they hear it before..

And what about the boy? he is the key but how?

Only a few more episodes and we’ll finally find out

The Invaders are just better at Math than we are – Olivia – what a great line…from a Tier 1 fugitive on RewardWire no less.

What is a Truth Church?
Shifting futures with Windmark is amazingly complex, though the pacing of this episode was also painfully slow unitl of course – the awesome ending.

at 5:14 Windmark will draw his last breath.. or will he?

We didnt think we’d see Peter actually cut the tech out his neck, but he did it.

ONLY 5 episodes left…..

Fringe: nina sharp returns as Peter tells Olivia the Truth.

So we finally see Nina Sharp in the future, we were wondering when that would happen.

Lots of good lines from Walter this time. And it was neat to see her picture in William Bell’s safe (nice hand!)

Cool to see the new observer matter sublimation device too – converting solid matter into gas..we’ll likely see that again.

Then of course there was Peter. dude finally admitted to Olivia what is going on and yeah he’s losing his hair too.

Amazing to see how the JJ Abrams is also pulling back up stuff from the first year of Fringe to this final season

“our first fringe experience was their last.”

it’s 2036 ..
The pocket universe was kinda interesting and will be neat to find out where the child/observer went.

As a subtle touch was cool to see the markings on the doors in the pocket universe, the hand, the seahorse…etc many of the same signs that we see whenever Fringe goes to commercial.

Peter has now become closer to observer than human and no doubt this will not end well for him – but it could well be the key to saving humanity.

Considering how few episodes are left, this episode was a bit slower than it should have been. We’d like to see a little more development, a little less of the long pauses and more action.

The observer ‘tell’ was he lying? was it just a fly? who knows….but wtf did happen with the box and didn’t it collapse into a Black Hole?

and Yeah it was cool to see the picture of Etta on the RESIST!! poster, but we knew that this would be a sad episode after the last one…

but i don’t think we could have expected peter doing surgery on himself to put the observer tech in his own body – that was just crazy.

She is separated from her parents when the aliens come, her parent search for he aimlessly…get stuck in amber fo 21 yrs and then she finds them.

only to die in her father’s arms.

unreal and so terribly sad too.

Edwin Massey the recorder of history made history. He will be greatly missed. he gave his life selflessly in pursuit of freedom and a better future

Yeaah the future is dark.. But the whole loyalist thing is an interesting twist. What was the address the the loyalist gave to Olivia though?

And what will become of that guy? We,ll see

Now what is on thos tapes? And are they all inthe harvard office?

Fringe Season 5: Will Etta (Henrietta) Die in Episode 4? October 1, 2012

Someone is going to die in Fringe Season 5 and it’s not going to be pretty.

In an interview this week Joshua Jackson (Peter Bishop) gave out some stunning teasers.

This is what he said:

We have a scene — with a character who I will not name, doing a thing I can’t tell you about — where [a dangerous] scenario plays out. It’s just a small, quotidian thing. [But] one break from the routine leads to disaster. I mean, really f–king major disaster. And if that sense of dread permeates the show this year, I think that’s really good

That’s gotta be Etta right? What other epic disaster? Olivia dead? a major city gone?

Fringe Season Five Episode one was one solid episode.

The year is 2036 and the battle to save mankind is about to begin. Wow what a great way to set the tone for a season. This isn’t a show about ‘fringe’ events anymore it’s a year-long final season battle against the observers.

And how about those observers, brutal and almost Borg – like.

one of them even said – Resistance is Futile !

The nice family reunion between Peter, Olivia and Henrietta was also really dramatic and impactful. Sure was funny that the amber gypsies sold Olivia and then the dude used her as a coffee table…

and as always it’s the little things that make sense in this show – like the Dandelion on the otherwise grey street at the end of the episode as Walter listens to music and restores his brain.

Now how will the resistance fight back? How will Henrietta keep her job at Fringe? We’ve got a full season to find out!

Fringe Season 5: Why We Hope It will Be the Best Season EVER September 26, 2012

Yes we loved the first three seasons of Fringe.

We did not like (most of) Season 4 though – it just didn’t make sense – did it?

that’s why we can’t hardly wait for Season 5 to get started…it has a chance to right the wrongs of Season4 and end this show on string of awesomeness.

The first three seasons were all about the ‘pattern’ the alternate universe and closing the gap. The fourth was about….? what? it was all over the place. If the show had ended right at the end of the third season it would have worked for us.

But the show still has legs, Walter is still an amazing character (as are peter and olivia) and the future world where Peter has just been thawed out from the amber that Season 4 will be all about is really really cool.

here’s our first sneak peak at the first episode and it’s looking sharp. Fringe, Season 5 – Fringe starts this Friday.

sorry, but we have to admit that we had *almost* given up on Fringe. This season so far has mostly sucked with no real direction…

that is until the last couple of episodes when Peter ’emerged’ from the dead somehow…No the story doesn’t quite make sense, yet…Walter has his own set of memories about peter drowning the lake..it’s almost as if this was yet another new Earth…but it’s not.

How will all the world’s memories be restored? Was the time blip/look with the reports that Olivia encountered a sign of things to come?

NO this season doesn’t have the same entertainment value of ANY of the preceding seasons, but let’s hope FOX doesn’t kill the show entirely before they tell us WTF is going on.

another week and another messed up episode of Fringe that leaves more questions than answers.

Peter is still missing and walter is still hearing voices – ok that’s…interesting..but come on…how long will this get stretched out for?

Aside from Peter…the whole cross-universe team up of the two olivias and two Broyles was cool..(but wait wasn’t the alternate Broyles killed by Walternate?).

Oh wait, that’s right..this season makes no frakking sense and has limited to no proper continuity with the three seasons that came before it.

We’re giving this season another week or two and then we’re giving up on this show.

Ok that was a bit… Weird.

So the two universes now kinda sorta get along ? They can cross from one universe to the other with an elevator?

Where is Walternate anyways?
Lots of Agent Lee though..but the Lee on the other side is a cooler guy..

Ok but the big question is.. Where is Peter?

has his memory been erased from both universes? And was the Watcher going to erase Walter too?

how does Sam Wise know so much? There are multiple SAMs too?
The bigger shift is the idea that Olivia is the key to unlock the machine..we had forgotten that episode where she shut off the lights with her mind ..
But what happened inside the machine? Is that a vision of the future it sure looked a lot like Dollhouse’s epitaph

sure it was a neat effect to have Walter, Peter and belly as animated characters, but why?
And is belly really dead? Or will he be brought back by another set of soul magnets?

In any event it’s to great to have Olivia back, though it was kinda fun to have her talk with the Leanord Nimoy voice

The whole episode we trying guess who was behind Olivia’s abduction..

We knew it could be the Watcher…

AMAZING twist that it was Walternate…

So what was the Watcher waiting for?

Here’s our theory – FauxOlivia’s baby is actually the boy that is supposed to power the machine – not his dad Peter.

And hey good news! FOX has renewed Fringe for another season.

Caprica’s Amanda Graystone – aka actress Paula Malcomsom does a fine role playing another tortured sole in Fringe.

But how did she come back from the dead in the first place? And why was the bomb blast enough to kill her? Was it really her destiny to save everyone on the train?

a bit odd, but hey we loved it.

As for Olivia (ann Torv) doing the Leonard Nimoy William Bell voice — that’s kinda cool…but werid how she’s interested in Astrid.
