stargate.atlantisStargate Atlantis producer Joe Mallozzi has a lot of ideas for Stargate Atlantis season 6.

While Season five episode 20 – the 100th episode for the show overall marked the series finale – it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way. Season five was supposed to be the gateway to a new awesome story arc of Season 6.

“It was also intended to be the launching point for a very interesting early season 6 scenario,” Mallozzi blogged. ” With Atlantis back on Earth, why the hell would the I.O.A. ever let it go? And if it remained, which, by all indications seemed likely, what would become of its occupants, especially Ronon and Teyla? Also, with a permanent station in the Milky Way, wouldn‘t Atlantis, logically, cease to be a launch point for gate travel and, instead, become a research center for Ancient technology? Well, I guess you’ll never know the answer to these questions…”

Actually we’ll find out some of them in the Stargate Atlantis movies – but still…Atlantis as a regular weekly series still apparently had a lot of gas left it in when Sci Fi Channel pulled the plug. What a shame.

just combine both sg1 & sga’s teams for an ultimate stargate series because you could do alot with the teams together you could have awesome new episodes and you could re-visit some episodes with a different look & outcome. you’d be able to end Atlantis like everyones been waiting for. sure the sci fi channel canned you but that doesn’t mean it has to end there just look for a new channel. both stargate shows have become good enough for any channel to want them.plus with both teams together it would call for nothing short then epic. alot of channels would give there left arm for a stargate show of that epicness 😀

Please bring it back. The Idea of the Atlantis team and SG1 team working together sounds awesome. Fantastic idea if you ask me. Stargate for me is without a doubt the best Programme made to date. I can watch them over and over, Which I have done Specially SG1. Lost count how many times I’ve watched the whole ten seasons and two movies. Please bring them back PLEASE !!!

SciFi channel producers take note – looks like, taking all these comments into account (no pun intended), that you guys shot your bolt too soon (which is maybe a familiar feeling?).
Anyways why don’t you desist from producing the latest mediocre SciFi series and give us season 6 of Altlantis?
Go on, you know you want to 😉

Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging
on sites I stumbleupon every day. It will always be useful to read through articles from other writers and use
something from other websites.
