Battlestar Galactica Season 5 episode 6 (SciFi calls this season 4 episode 16 Deadlock
) Hera is the savior of both the human and cylon races.

There is no other.

We’ve been guessing for years that Hera would be the savior and now there is little doubt that is the way it will be.

No this episode did not have the stunning revelations of the last episode – No Exit – but we do have some stunning developments.

Finally Baltar is relevant again – and for the first time in YEARS he has Caprica in his head again! Baltar was one of our favorite characters in the first three seasons – then he became less interesting – but now as the show winds down HE’S BACK.

Will the cylon goop end up busting Galactica? I sure think so…

Will the Cylon’s jump away? Not likely but before the end the other Cylons will jump back in for a massive battle royale the likes of which we have never seen.

Where cylons fight cylons and humans.

How did resurrected Helen go from confident and intelligent designer and moral compass of the 13th tribes’ original five to a badgering jealous vindictive tramp again? This episode bit toaster nuggets. Adama’s alcohol induced simpering has just about run its course too. Hope so.

And what happened to all those mutineers? “They whose names we shall not mention?” The season ending Island of Tahiti is in sight will there be viewer mutiny? – better tighten up!

Fortunately the Feb 27th episode has resurrected its former grace with subtle hints and good character follow through with some great twists.
