Where the Wild Things Are – Maurice Sendak’s kids book comes to the big screen and it looks LAME March 25, 2009

wildthingsAs a child, Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are was one of my fav books.

Max gets pissed off at his mom and goes to bed without dinner than goes on an adventure to the land of the wild things where he becomes the king — then he comes back to eat his dinner.

This wonderful childhood classic is now going to be ruined by a feature film.

I’ve pasted the trailer below and it looks as lame as lame can be. The wild things look like walking stuffed animals (think Barney).
