We’re a little behind on our Doctor Who viewing – but we just got the chance to watch episodes 4 and5 which is really just one story (we got them both on Amazon -> The Time Of Angels
and Flesh and Stone
).
At first this seemed like a dumb idea – the most dangerous entity in the universe is a stone statue?
But as we watched the two part episode – the whole concept really grew on us. Stone angels are everywhere — and when you look at them nothing happens, look away and hey…
This is a unique kind of concept and once that Matt Smith as Doctor Who made very real, believable and incredibly entertaining. The stone statues ‘wheeping angels’ is a basic enough idea, but one that was well executed, we’ll likely never look at a Stone Angel the same again.
And what’s the deal with Doctor Sung? Is she the Doctor’s wife? Does she kill the Doctor in the future/past?
This is very interesting, You are a very skilled blogger.
