FOX killed Firefly 7 years ago…but it’s now coming back..to cable .. in reruns.
Starting in March Firefly will be on the Science Channel – and will have some new content with Science Channel ppl explaining the science behind the show.
More interesting is the fact that Nathan Fillion – Capt Mal himself is still interested in Firefly and would return to do the show if he could.
“If I got $300 million from the California Lottery, the first thing I would do is buy the rights to Firefly, make it on my own, and distribute it on the Internet,” Fillion said in an interview.

Now, the Science Channel just needs to play re-runs of Stargate, Farscape, Babylon 5, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica and we can have a real SciFi channel again.
