Disney really doesn’t like parts of the Star Wars Universe.
First they destroyed the Clone Wars, ending the series before its time.
Now Disney is closing down LucasArts. That’s right the main production house behind some of the best games ever made is being shutdown by the house the mouse built.
“After evaluating our position in the games market, we’ve decided to shift LucasArts from an internal development to a licensing model, minimizing the company’s risk while achieving a broader portfolio of quality Star Wars games. As a result of this change, we’ve had layoffs across the organization. We are incredibly appreciative and proud of the talented teams who have been developing our new titles.”
I hope they do not shut down the SWTOR, I was just getting into it.
K It is electronic arts, not shur if Lucas has a part of that.
