NO JOKE! Ryder will play Amanda, the human woman who marries Spock’s Vulcan father, Sarek.
No word yet who will play Sarek though…
Is this good or bad? frankly i think it’s great to have at least one A list actor in any movie…even if it is just a bit part.

I love Winona Ryder and I think it’s great that she will be in a major motion picture again. I wasn’t planning on seeing this movie, but since Winona is in it, I’ll be there opening day! 🙂
