Ben Cross has been cast as Sarek, the Vulcan father of Spock.
Sarek was first played by Mark Lenard in the original series and subsequent movies. As all good Trek Triva buffs know Lenard was actually a Romulan commander too…
Cross will play opposite Winona Ryder – his human wife – while Zachary Quinto is Spock. Star Trek XI is set for an Xmas 2008 and is now in full production.

has there been an official casting list released. I have heard bits and pieces of who is playing the main crew roles but I hadn’t heard about any of the others.
