I like David Tennant – he’s a great Doctor and he’s really grown on me. But his time is now almost done as he had now announced he’s leaving Doctor Who.
Looks like Tennant is not Tom Baker – he doesn’t have the same sense of loyalty to fans or the franchise. At ShowMeSciFi.com we are TERRIBLY disappointed in this news and very UPSET.
When it comes to the British actors playing Dr. Who, they are very fickle. Please find someone with a longer attention span 🙂
It’s not about longevity in the role, it’s about his career and about not being pigeonholed.
Before the fans he has a duty to himself and his career. It actually makes sense to leave now as RTD is also departing so it leaves Stephen Moffatt with his own interpretation of the Doctor.
