Happy 45th Birthday Star Trek! September 8, 2011

It was 45 years ago today that the greatest franchise is Science Fiction TV was born – with the airing of the first episode.

YES it sucks that there is no Trek on TV today. And Yes we think the new movies suck too…but with 45 years of TV and movies …we’ve got lots of re-runs to enjoy.

Love the timeline! It does suck there is no Star Trek on tv today, but I must disagree with you on one point. I actually thought the new movie was pretty good, but that’s neither here nor there.

Good job putting this out for everyone to read. I’m not such a huge fan of the new movie, but…I suppose I’m just getting old 🙂
