Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.

Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.

But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.

1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?

There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.

2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?

Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.

4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?

The answer will be revealed in issue 15.

Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .

My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.

Anyone want to take that bet?

ya i watched return of the king. i think onimi is gonna play a part later on in star wars but then again the book explains that he did not even realize he was force sensitive all he cared about was killing the jedi

heres a idear could darth K be a ofspring of luke’s as before he got married to mara he had a few lovers, maybe he does not know he fathered a child with one of them.

I doubt it. The ppl at Lucas would not let that happen. They wouldn’t want to spoil his image. But that would be pretty interesting though.

in legacy 11 the one armed guy says a skywalker will reunite the jedi and that cade is the only one they have.the way that foreshadowing works with star wars i believe krayt will be a skywalker . cade will go dark and krayt will lead the jedi.

Okay.. I will grant that Daye Azur-Jamin is a bit low profiule to be Krayt, though that doesn’t rule him out. Randy Stradley recently posted a hint in the back of the newest issue that we shouldn’t get out theories too big about Krayt because it might be somebody many people have never heard of.

That being said, if it is some big name, but not a piece or a synthesis of some other characters, the only person I can think of outside of the Skywalkers but with Sith exposure and a strong enough Force talent to be a threat would be… Kyp Duron. Strongest Jedi of the New Jedi Order outside of the Skywalker family, the right age, the right strength, the right options. Although the cyber eye and specific history still point to Daye. I would LIKE Kyp more.

kyp would be a good sith. it would explain the name as he was a pain in lukes life. one of the best created jedi. him and corran

Actually that would be a good guess. Once Exar Kun’s spirit was destroyed and Kyp was free of his influence he still was a pretty aggressive jedi and wanted them to be more willing to fight evil doers. What if when Kyp stopped acting the way he did midway through the new jedi order series he met with a sith and thought it was best to work for them and after the war he formed his order.

I kind of doubt it could be him though because he is like one of those main strong jedi. He does have an important story but he doesnt have a destiny that makes him do something dramatic (Excluding when he was possesed).

Raynar was essentially the face of another entity, he didnt do much himself or even think or decide anything for himself.
