Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.
Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.
But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.
1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?
There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.
2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?
Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.
4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?
The answer will be revealed in issue 15.
Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .
My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.
Anyone want to take that bet?

I have thought a lot about the whole flow walking thing and personally I dont think star wars and any sort of time travel belong together. It was bad enough Jacen used it in the Dark Nest Crisis. Time travel is pretty confusing and star wars doesnt need it. I dont think George Lucas would even allow it.

what if krayt is obiwans son?hes tied to obiwan somehow so its either the son of kenobi or hett.its not anyone with the last name vos.hett would be reasonable because he might have learned lukes lineage and tried to kill him because of what anakin did.of course obiwan would have to LAYETH THE SMACK DOWN ON HIS CANDY A**.
if thats why he became sith then im not disappointed. but cmon the son of kenobi……..that would be cool.
LOL darth who. Anyway I have a feeling that this battle in Claws of the dragon #3 involves tusken raiders and Vong. Just a feeling that the Vong will be featured to explain DK’s armor and his Vong connection. However that will most likely not be revealed until later on. We can nail down DK’s identity to either Hett, relative of obi wan, or maybe a relative of Taharia (The girl Anakin Solo was in love with) since we know her family came from Tatooine.
It could possibly be Kortos Vos, or an heir thereof…but I highly highly doubt it. But there is the possibility. Also..the son of kenobi. Heh, well ya know a Lonely hermit in the dune sea cant stay LONELY all the time right? There is also a comic with Obi Wan on the cover so there is a possibility he may have something to do with Krayts origins. I agree with you ::MIK:: that flow walking is really an easy way to fuck up the star was timeline. I mean time travel in itself, as you said, is really confusing and especially in all the chaos the star wars galaxy has gone through there is no telling the possiblity of what could happen. Or what could change…and that is cool at all in my opinion. Anyway. We dont have long to go until Krayts identity is revealed on August 8!
Also, lets all face it. Cade is going to fall to the sith, he’s already on the cover wielding a red lightsaber so lets all understand now that hes going to help Krayt out with his fucked up body and theres going to be a nice little deal made with Krayt also.
If Cade falls someone has to be brought back to the light side. Possibly Krayt but who knows.

Tatooine, knew the Jedi of old, most sith are red with black tatoos, jan and john said Krayt might know how to use a double-bladed lightsaber (basically two lightsabers like Krayt), all the names have obivious origins (talon=talon, maul=maul), his connection to obiwan (obiwan kills him, he’s brought back a lot). He could also be a zabrak under the mask (they look human except for horns), and the color in his skin could have been lost by the Vong disease and he could have changed his tatoos. Or he coulda pulled a palpatine, and possesed a body.
I also strongly agree with the A’Sharad Hett theory (that’s actually the front runner in my mind). My other theories are TANK (Tatooine, knew Luke, had chance to end Skywalker line; except for Leia), THOLME (eye, knew jedi of old, grey jedi), JENG DROGA (now he was an emperor’s hand I think, used to lightsabers, and kind of looks like he could be Krayt, dead), THE SON OF OBI-WAN (just because he was a jedi, it would suck if he had a son, and because Siri was his “girlfriend” so it’d be weird if he had a kid with a random Tatooine person). Also, I wrote this in a letter to darkhorse, that if you look at the Krayt picture in Insider 88, the lighting from Krayt’s fingertips goes off in a different direction than the others, making it look (turn the picture on its right side) like a “J” or a “T” (Tholme, Tank, Jeng Droga?) so it could mean something like that. Also, does anyone notice the resemblence between the names “Caedus” and “Cade”. Just a thought
Or Kir Kanos. Think about the symbol on Krayt’s eye…
