Star Wars Legacy – Is Darth Krayt a Jacen Solo descendant? March 29, 2007

Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.
Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.
But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.
1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?
There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.
2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?
Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.
4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?
The answer will be revealed in issue 15.
Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .
My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.
Anyone want to take that bet?

Yeah, but I think they killed Kol off so everyone wouldn’t think the “I am Your Father” thing again, flow-walking or something. Still I’m not ruling him out. Cade turns to the dark side; Kol is really the only one who could convince him, they both know Jar’Kai (to a point), and their heads look about the same size. Plus there’s a reason Kol didn’t appear as a force ghost, but Luke did.

Ok well I totally know who Darth Krayt is. And I am trying to figure out…why he is.It is really cool how everything is presented I hope you guys are pleased! I am!
Hm, from what I know now, and looking from the point of view of Darth Krayt, I can tell you guys I have some major issues with the Jedi Order. Even from what Darth Tyranus ( Count Dooku) had to say about the Order has made me fall to way-side with the beliefs of the Jedi. With Palpatine for instance ( who is NOT Darth Krayt BTW) he used the power of the Dark Side and set major events into motion for the destruction of the Jedi. He clouded their vision so well its unbelieveable. Also, with Count Dooku being sent to kill all of the Mandalorians, for reason that weren’t true made me question the knowledge of even the wisest Jedi such as Yoda. Master Windu could see shtaterpoints in the force, and yet he still couldn’t figure out that Palpatine was a (the) Sith Lord. I mean Palpatine REAKED of dark energy. Somethings just don’t make sense to me. The jedi have been soooooooooooooooo misguided many many times. The sith have too. But as noble as the jedi are I mean…it makes no sense. That is something i like about star wars…especially Legacy and LotF. There is a balance between the light side and the dark side. But what it seems to me as to what Krayt has done so far is somehow created an equilibrium of the Dark Side itself. Seeing as he believes the Sith Order should be the One ruler of the galaxy not just an Emperor with total power. In this instance the Sith Order is a unifying system. Instead of the apprentice craving power over the Master. Its so far, almost, equality in the sith ranks. But of course I can tell some certain individuals are jealous. Which happens of course…But Krayt is arguably a genius in the sith lord ranks. Obviously Marka Ragnos was too seeing as he controlled the sith empire for 100 years without being overrun with younger, more ambitious sith initiates. Krayt is well over 100 years old. Krayts seen it all basically and you can’t argue that once you read the new issue. I see some stuff from a newer perspective at the moment..someone reply asap. Thanks.
There are some huge gaps now, what happened to Ben Skywalker, all of the Solo’s ( Darth Caedus must have killed them off?), what happens to the Fett’s, etc.? Seeing as K’Khruk has survived for so damn long who else has survived? And if any of you know who the Sith’ari is or has ever heard of the prophecy I think that is going to be fulfilled by either Darth Krayt, or Cade Skywalker.
I just read the issue!!! The revealing picture is awesome!!! I’m just can’t help but wonder why. I’m writing a story of what I think will happen in 16, I don’t need to change anything. I won’t put who it is though as a courtesey to other readers. Just to show you I read it, Darth Nihl gets pissed about Krayt not telling him all that’s going on, and Calixte is Gunner Yage’s mother (I should’ve seen this coming, look at the resemblance).
Yeah! You sure as heck read it lol. It was great wasn’t it? I am writing something also Darth’ric. I really have a good reason as to ‘why’. Ya know? But everyone who has read it needs not to look at wookieepedia anytime soon unless you REALLY want to.
I thinking because of Sing, but I might put another Krayt theory person in there. The story will be a few different time periods. Also WHAT HAPPENS TO TANK!?!? Making him Krayt would have been a perfect ending for Rebellion. I just think we’ll see him again. That escape pod could have carried him… or Jorin Sol, but he’s not Krayt either. Also can we say who Krayt is now or do we need to wait?
