Star Wars Legacy – Is Darth Krayt a Jacen Solo descendant? March 29, 2007

Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.
Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.
But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.
1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?
There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.
2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?
Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.
4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?
The answer will be revealed in issue 15.
Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .
My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.
Anyone want to take that bet?

Since it’s **** (not swear), did he work with Lumiya and Vergere, or is he on his own? I hope he is otherwise he really wouldn’t appear in LotF. This also means Luke IS dead and not a projection.
My above statement might be slightly unclear. I meant, I hope he was working somehow with Lumiya or Vergere or both, and I DO want him to appear in LotF. Also from post 359, why can’t/shouldn’t we read the Wookie article (I did, It was better than the original Hett article).
For stuff after 15 are we gonna use this article for 16< or is this one down and another one’s going up?
I havent read the issue but I briefly glanced at wookiepedia. I am not surprised but a lot of stuff needs to be revealed. I will look at the site later but I am busy right now. So can we now say who he is on this site? Also I think we should all continue posting on this site. Lets not change it guys. Let me know what you think I will try to post later tonight.
Well Krayts original name is all over this site lol…If no one else is going to do it I might as well be the one who gets in trouble for it. Darth Krayt is none other than A’Sharad Hett. I have to think that Hett, since he had the chance to destroy the line of Skywalker either meant he was going to do it on Tatooine, and Kenobi stopped him or, Sing was messing around and drives Hett to the darkside. I mean think about it, Anakin Skywalker destroys the Jedi (essentially) Hett knows it, it drives him overboard and he finds out that there are skywalker kids…hmmmm?? Can’t he end the POSSIBLITY of further POWERFUL Skywalker Sith?

KRAYT IS HETT. I THINK ITS A GOOD CHOICE BUT WHERE IS HE GONNA FIT IN WITH VERGERE? IS HE PULLING JACENS STRINGS? DID OBI WAN FUCK UP ANOTHER SITH IN TRAINING? WHERE DID HE GET THE ARMOR?

Oh and hey thanks to all of you that have kept this thread warm since March. It’s been an awesome thread and i hope we keep it going either here or in response to another post.
I wish i had prizes to give to those of you that got it right (i don’t); but hey pat yourselves on the back, The Force Is With You.
If no one realizes it yet, or has done the proper math, Darth Krayt ( A’Sharad Hett) is 185 years old if I did my math correct. What in the heck kinda stasis did he use? And at what periods did he use them? As of 0ABY Hett would have been 48. And by the time of 40ABY he would’a been 88. Looking at his face in CoTD part2 he doesnt look 185…and using the dark side of the force has ridiculous effects on the body, so as has been seen with Palpatine many times over. But with Hett? He should have fallen apart a while ago? Maybe the armor does something… or the stasis. But obviously he must have stayed in the shadows for quite some time after Darth Caedus came onto the seen and Lumiya was dead. So lets see…where does that leave Luke Skywalker? Who kills the great jedi grand master ?
Well how do we know Hett knew Darth Vader was Anakin right after order 66. I dont remember it saying Hett automatically knew Anakin fell to the dark side though I could be wrong. I am sure next issue will explain an encounter he had with Obi Wan.
