Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.

Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.

But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.

1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?

There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.

2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?

Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.

4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?

The answer will be revealed in issue 15.

Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .

My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.

Anyone want to take that bet?

THANK GOD WE CAN SAY IT’S HETT… Okay… I finally get to say it……………………….A’SHARAD HETT IS DARTH KRAYT!!!!!!!!!! He’s a good character, but I don’t know. I just can’t believe Hett would do this. I know, I know I have to read 16 which will be even better but Krayt with his mask and Hett without just seem like two different people. Hett better have been extremely destroyed for him to turn. And also, even though I understand what Ostrander was saying about not trying to hinder DelRey, come on, Hett can’t just go from Republic to Legacy. There is no mention really of Ep. 4 and on. Legacy should be about the Legacy of characters CURRENTLY (Lotf) alive like the Horns, Vos’s (I don’t know if Jariah’s one or not), Katarns, Durrons, etc. While they don’t want to get in Del Rey’s way they have to work together on this: A’Sharad has to have worked with Lumiya in some way, and hopefully been the one really pulling Jacen’s strings. It would simply have been stupid for him to be in stasis all through Jacen’s fall. I don’t care what happens after that.

Well I have come up with a potential scenario. What if the battle featured in Legacy issue 16 will be Hett who expects an Imperial invasion force to come to Tatooine, but instead winds up having to lead his Tusken Raider forces against Vong. I think I said this early on one of my postings . Anyway the battle could of been joined by Obi Wan who helped Hett and it could of ended with the Vong being able to completely wipe out the Tusken Raiders but instead, Hett agrees to go with them just like Vererge (sorry about spelling). Hett would then be able to meet with Vererge who reveals that she was a potential sith apprentice to Palpatine. Hett now forced to face something completely different (the ways of the Vong and their not existing in the force) decides to learn the ways of the Sith. He becomes Vererge’s apprentice. He learns how to extend his life and by the time of the Vong War, they decide to seek out the current Dark Lord or in this case Dark Lady to rebuild the Sith order. Lumiya, Hett and Vererge are now the second Sith Trimuvert (sorry about spelling). They put a master plan into motion. They decide Jacen will unify the galaxy and become the next Dark Lord. If he is to fail then Hett will try. Most likely Hett will be option number two because of something special that has happened to him.

Also I have thought about Tatooine. Tatooine has involvment with not just Darth Vader but also his creator. I will bet anything Darth Plaguis (sorry about spelling) is the one who made Anakin. I doubt it but there could be info about him revealed later on in the series. Hopefully some new stuff will shed some light on him in other star wars series, whether books or comics.

From Lumiya, Vergere, and A’Sharad Hett are the new sith leaders on, I agree 100000% and I hope that will happen. Otherwise just another Prequel dominated Universe

My theory is this (on who kills who) :

Caedus kills Luke

Then Krayt/Hett kills Caedus due to Caedus wanting to keep the rule of two and Krayt wanting to abolish it.That or Krayt/Hett was Caedus apprentice and Krayt killed him to take over.

Lucas isn’t going to allow Luke to die onscreen I don’t think. Also I don’t see how Jacen would take Hett as an apprentice, unless A’Sharad was able to disguise himself or something. But I would hope he kills Jacen. I don’t want Jacen redeemed. HE IS DEAD!!! Hett I want redeemed somehow because in Rep 59 he’s got strong Morals, and Anakin turns to the Darkside. He also made a promise to his father. It doesn’t seem like dumb (in wisdom) Anakin should be redeemed, and A’Sharad who had told Anakin right from wrong should fall. That’s my two cents.

On the Jedi Council Forums (theforce.net) there’s a thread called is Caedus the master… or the apprentice. In the first post someone (this person should Del Rey and DH how to work together on this, even though I like both there series; DH is better) said when Lumiya mentions other sith in Tempest she’s probably referring to Krayt, and that maybe Lumiya is an agent of his sent to corrupt Jacen and destroy the Jedi from within (the whole Skywalker family), as a backup plan instead of Krayt immediately. I completely agree with this and DEL REY AND DH HAD BETTER HAVE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Well about who kills who, keep in mind that DK and Darth Caedus are doing what they are doing for good reasons. They are fixing things. They have greater understandings of the force then regular sith or jedi. In my opinion they are what the galaxys needs to be stabalized. However, someone will always oppose them because of their brutal methods. Also we must keep in mind their previous expierences. We dont quit know Hett’s. (Will at least why he is now a Dark Lord/Dread Lord and wearing Vong armor)

I suppose Jacen is trying to become a sith for “good” reasons, but the ends never justify the means, and Jacen hasn’t done any good. He can die (awesomely of course) for all I care. The Del Rey people seem to really hate Han. Come on Han’s awesome, but probably because he isn’t a jedi, they kill Chewie, Anakin, and now Jacen’s a sith adept. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Hett: I don’t know the universe is probably worse now that the jedi are mostly dead; have we actually seen one planet where there’s sun (oh yeah Ossus, and then Torlin gets killed…). Jacen had a choice, he chose the sith, and now he’s being an idiot just like Anakin and justifying everything for the “greater good”. Hett had better have been really destroyed by Sing or someone for him to turn Dark; at least a better than Anakin. Also, having Caedus kill Luke; there is NOTHING GOOD about that. If Del Rey is allowed to do that I will extremely hate them (I’ll still buy the books though).

Also I know a fan came up with the name “Caedus”, but it seems kinda coincedental. I mean (and I wrote this in a letter to Legacy, while I thought Kol might be Krayt through flow-walking) Caedus sounds like Cade, so in-universe how would they happen to justify that; it’d be interesting… also I just thought of this. Caedus who is a terrorist now no matter what he thinks sounds like Qaeda as in al-Qaeda (should pronounce it Ky-da, it’s eviler). It just seems very ominous. Anyone else think of this?

Wookiepedia already has the spoilers for Inferno. I’ve only read a few of them though. I have a feeling the book is gonna be really good.
