Mara Jade Skywalker didn’t have to die at the hands of Darth Caedus.
It was a wasted empty death…
Lucas Licensing apparently allowed this disaster to happen and now we should call on them to reverse it. The Sith have the power to bring back the dead and so too then does the Force.
Whether it is Ben or Luke Skywalker or even someone else I don’t care. I just want Mara Jade back.
To that end we here at ShowMeSciFi have started a petition to Bring Back Mara Jade.

The death of Master Skywalker wife Mira Jade was, in my opinion, a nessasary lose. She will have a role to play yet in the comeing book. Remember, she didn’t disapear untill Jacen and Luke were there and then she went into the force. Her last message. Where else are either Master Luke or even Ben, going to find the strength to destroy the new Lord of the Sith, Caedus. Caedus in my opinion, has potential, but…I don’t think all his powers have been realized just yet.
I am looking forward to a new rise of the Sith. Respect is what I give the Jedi though I think it’s time for Lord Caedus to bring the balance.
legacy talks of a triumvurite ruling the allaince. my guess is that once jacen gets beheaded we will see yet another form of government emerge.
I didn’t say it wasn’t out. For some reason no one in this area likes stocking it. I had to hunt down Sacrifice at a discount bookstore two hours away.
As for ordering online, I can get a heck of a better price in-person, and when you’re paying off school bills, that’s all that matters.
The death of Mara was not needed. I believe that she was and still is one of the most powerful jedi, one half of a team that is needed. With her death it has made me rethink wether or not i want to continue reading the series. I have collected the books since the beginning and have love to see the development of the characters over the years as the years have rolled by in their universe. Now with the lose of the most important characters in that universe… well what else is there for me say. I am dissapointed with this discision.
Yeah, it used to be exciting to read Mara’s stories…now I don’t even want to pick up the books, knowing it’s all over. Maybe there is some hope in the Legacy comics.
luke is growing even more powerful people. as much as it sucks i think its needed for luke and ben to unleash their full potential. she will be a ghost who refuses to return to the force. she will guide luke and ben. hopefully she will bring back a friend like anakin solo or yoda.vader anyone? obiwan? cmon lucas left it open for us and we want it.lets start a petition.
hm… I don’t know. I think I prefer her alive again (even if it sounds absurd). At least Anakin left the stage as a true hero and didn’t die as a complete failure. I’m still angry at del ray that they killed her at all and in such a cheap way. She deserved so much better, her death should have meant something – instead they sacrificed her as a pawn in order to turn Jacen into what he is now: a sith-wannabe.
Oh, and by the way: What about a “kill-cadeus-petition”? I have a bad feeling lately that “Invincible” might refer to him or to the sith in general…

Mara was the best charakter sins the original triologi, why not Kyp or some ohter fony Luke-wanabee?
I hope Jaina kicks her “brothers” sorry ass! Now I only hade her left, well and Leia, but Leia has bekome stif lately, just as Han.
But now, when she’s died I feel it would be lame to bring her back in the flesh. Im more for a goustly re-aperence by her. Just as darth who says.
