The last Superman movie – Superman Returns – was a farce. Comic books fans deserved better and now we’re finally getting it – albeit in the animated straight to DVD format.
Technically this is called Superman Doomsday – but it’s based on the Death of Superman series which is near impossible to find on the comic book store shelves now.
As an Amazon pre-order the price is pretty fair and apparently it’s already in the top 10 selling DVD’s at Amazon too. The DVD officially comes out on Tuesday September 18th.
Check out the Warner Bros trailer for this and then decide for yourself whether this is the ultimate Superman movie …or not.
