Michael Crichton’s Andromeda Strain is coming back..this time as a TV mini-series on Memorial Day.
this time around it’s being produced by Blade Runner’s Ridley Scott and his son Tony..so you can be it’ll be darker than the original 1971 classic.
The original is a classic but check out the the original trailer to remind yourself of just how bad effects were 37 years ago.

cool at first I thought this was a remake of that abomination that was the tv series Andromeda (with kevin sorbo from hercules), though this looks like something I’ll actually watch if it’s done properly, hopefully with the same effort as BSG.
