Stargate 5×04 Get me off this ship August 2, 2008

trackback

Jumping alternate realities (multi-verses) is commonplace in Stargate series. This episode of Atlantis really does nothing to advance that concept further at all.

They didn’t really meet any other versions of themselves (expect for the cheesy f302 pilot sheppard), no wraith and no replicators.

Sure it was neat to try and figure out how they would get off their ‘runaway train of starship’ but this was a relatively ‘boring’ episode..wasn’t it?

yes i agree!!! in fact i’m very dissapointed in season 5 thus far … Woolsey (as boring as they’ve made his character) seems to show up only here and there … hardly any scenes of Atlantis. It all seems very disjointed to me. I hate to say this being a huge fan of both SG1 and Atlantis but, I’m getting bored very quickly 😦

They did introduce a new Big Bad, that was the most interesting bit of the episode. McKay actually said “capacitor” — I was waiting for Doc Brown to pop up somewhere with a Delorean. I wish they’d stay away from alternate timeline plots. If I want that I’ll go watch Star Trek.
