After 3 weeks of some really great reading..we’re ready to finally offer a full review of Star Wars Legacy of the Force Revelation (which officially came out on Feb 26, 2008).

No this is not the best book in the series – BUT yes it is an AWESOME book and one that at points is an intensely riveting page turning adventure.

Revelation follows follows Fury, Sacrifice, Exile, Betrayal , Bloodlines and Tempest.

The axis on which this whole book sits is the Battle of Fondor and what a battle!

Since the first book of this series – Legacy of the Force has been all about Civil War. What do we call it now – double civil war? The GA now has two factions, then there is still the Confederacy and somewhere inbetween is the Imperial Remnant.

Did i shed a tear for Admiral Palleon? You bet I did.

But amongst all that chaos that is the middle to the end of this book the number one question in my mind was – Where was the Confederacy in all this? Why didn’t Bothawui or Correlia show up?

Also what’s up with Tahiri? Suddenly she’s now a Sith apprentice – yet we never really any discourse from her/Caedus on her becoming Sith?

Jaina’s training with the Mandalorians is awesome stuff and clearly Karen Traviss is cut out for writing about the Mando’ade – it’s what she exels at.

The fact that OH FINALLY Ben/Luke et al accept the fact the Caedus killed Mara was far too drawn out and lame but hey..Fondor makes up for it (A BIT).

Overall we give this 3.5 out of 5 stars.

We have to wait until May 13th for the last book in this series – Invincible – where the only question is — Will Jaina Kill Jacen/Caedus??
