Battlestar Galactica : Starbuck is a Cylon! January 22, 2007

NO I’M not 100% sure..but i just watched the first episode of the second half of season 3 (episode title “Rapture”)…which was a fine episode btw…and now Lucy Lawless’ cylon (D’eanna) has seen the final five cylons (before she gets whacked).
She nods and apologizes to one of them as though she has done them wrong – at first i though it must have been president roslyn but after seeing the last 5 minutes when Kara Thrace (Starbuck) apparently had visions of the eye of jupiter her whole life…well…nuff said she’s a cylon.
Doesn’t anyone wonder why she’s the ONLY ONE who can fly the cylon raider?
Doesn’t it seem like she can kick a litle more ass than she should be able to?
She’s the best pilot AND sniper,
Cylons seem to know an awful lot about her, almost as if maybe they actually made up all her memories and know about it.
Why was she seperated from the other baby machines in the farm episode?

the story editors will do their best to conceal whos a cylon and not, and imo starbuck cannot be a cylon, as so is implied so many times in the show (above you made the points). we have to be shocked to know the ids of the final 5. like “the killer is the usher”
besides, i dont think cylons drink.
guys, i dont like starbuck myself, and i’ll love to see her as a cylon and gone thru the airlock, but unfortunately shes not a cylon.
i am.
Am I the only one who thinks Starbuck is a god? They want us to believe Cylon because there isn’t much other choice, but her destiny can’t be that obvious. Maybe I read too much into it…but when Kara became intrigued by the the little goddess statue and gave it to Adama to put as a figure head on his model ship, I belive it was more significant than that. Aurora: Goddess of the Dawn brings a morning star and a fair wind. A fresh start! When Kara was looking at her mom’s portfolio of her, there is a drawing which she made as a kid after she turns the page. It looks like it fills the description of the goddess. A star is behind her and squiggly lines everywhere for wind. I believe that is Kara’s special destiny. She will come back, but not as the cocky disobedient jock pilot. She will come back as a god and show them the way towards Earth. I bet the morning star is the Sun. Also we found out that it wasn’t Leoben at the end. He said that he was there to show her the space that hovers between life and death. Then a gust of wind blew on her before going back to the viper scene. So there you go peeps. She didn’t die. Yet she’s not alive.
…..OR I’M THINKING TOO MUCH INTO THIS AND SHE JUST DIED, BECAUSE AFTER ALL KATEE SACKOFF’S NAME DID NOT APPEAR IN THE OPENING CREDITS OF THE FOLLOWING EPISODE.
Starbuck may be a Cylon, but she isn’t the only one who knows how to fly a Cylon Raider. Isn’t that how Bulldog found his way back to Galactica?
She’s definitely a Cylon. She most certainly exploded with her Viper. And since the only characters who can die and then have brand new bodies are Cylons, SHE HAS TO BE A CYLON.
Seriously, how is there even doubt?
I agree with the god theroy or maybe an Angel(lightrider). The original had a type of this and I think were seeing a sort or reincarnation in the new series.
I think Kara is a hybrid like Hera. We never heard much about her dad. Maybe it is Saul Tigh. Or may be it is a whole different cylon played by Dirk Benedict.
[…] This site has some good stuff on it, but I think its theories on who’s a Cylon are […]
Ever consider that maybe D’eanna was apologising to Tigh for torturing him and riping his eye out?
[…] Kara Thrace (Starbuck the Cylon). […]
I reckon that Leoben is her father. And that she is the real first half human/cylon.
