Ever wanted to completely remodel your pad into a Star Trek replica?
Well now you can – with the help of what may be the world’s first SciFi interior design firm called 24th Century Design.
His own pad is totally decked out with voice-activated LED lighting throughout, hi-tech HVAC systems and authentic sound effects.
Apparently the dude that runs the firm got the idea to go Trek after his wife left him. Guess that’s probably why he’s living in a bachelor pad.

HAHAHA . . . that’s GREAT! Makes you wish you had the disposable income to just redecorate at whim. 🙂
I mean, it’s cool in theory and fun to look at, but actually doing this for one’s own home is ridiculous. Like you said, the guy’s wife left him. That ought to be a hint that the Trekkie obsession needs to be toned down.
I would rather have my flat decorated as Moes, if I was insane enough to decorate it, based on something from television..
I say this is absolutely fun – what the hell, if you can why not do it. But getting a firm to do it is boring. I mean that’s OK if you’re some rich guy’s kid or if you’re going to be inviting a lot of friends you absolutely need to brag to.

PS: it’s a bit heavy on the deco for a toilet.
I guess images of Paris like these wouldn’t quite fit in there but they’re cool interior design…

This is brilliant – I saw the guy responsible for this on The Graham Norton Show in the UK. Amazing attention to detail!
