Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.

Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.

But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.

1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?

There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.

2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?

Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.

4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?

The answer will be revealed in issue 15.

Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .

My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.

Anyone want to take that bet?

In that case, is it Dass Jennir?

Also in the case of Kyp, in LOTF, he mentions a woman who liked him. Could this have been Lumiya in disguise or something? Didn’t she say somewhere that she considered Jacen and Kyp as possible apprentices?

Also what about Ferus Olin? I mean I know he is only mentioned in the kid’s books so he isn’t really mentioned anywhere else (he can probably be semi-contradicted in adult books/comics), but in a way he could fit. He knew the Jedi of old, but he might have slightly different views (I know he lived by the book, but he probably questioned everything; I don’t know), he has a connection to Obi-Wan (Leg. 16), and he is working for Palpatine but as a double-agent, however he could still be corrupted. He could possibly be the secret apprentice despite evidence against it (in a picture in his wookiepedia article, he has silver plates on his shoulder like Vader’s apprentice. I don’t think it would happen but you never know…

Hmm…
Before you read my info comes from Wookieepedia. So if it is wrong, sorry folks.
Krayt, by wookieepedia, was supposedly born sometime after the Galactic Civil War. Which means he couldn’t have been some of the popular candidates, A’sharad Hett of course. Ferus Olin, while very interesting, he wasn’t born around the time of Krayt. He was born 43 BBY.Kyp I can’t see seeing as his birth date is BBY also…I just have a feeling Krayt was born ABY…shortly after the battle of Yavin when the Empire really fucked up. Dass Jennir, I dont know his D.O.B. but I think he’s probably dead by the time the empire falls…IDK about him. Someone said something about…a character flow walking and being Krayt…that would piss me off because that means it messes up space-time period..which could send the history of the galaxy into really weird timeline..IF flow-walkers can effect events or just view them..we dont have long the new issue is coming on the 8th next week!

KRAYT MAY HAVE BEEN REBORN AS A SITH AFTER THE CIVIL WAR, THUS HE COULD BE HETT.

Well the civil war mentioned is never said to be the galactic civil war. It could be and most likely is the clone wars, which is a civil war. Who knows it could even be the Jedi Civil War, but I doubt that.

every war besides the vong war is technically a civil war.

wouldnt the clone wars be considered the beginning of the galactic civil war? the rebelion could be considered an offshoot of the seperatists.

In Sacrifice Boba Fett says its all been one big war to him.

Well, it has all been one big war. The galaxy is continuously torn apart and upside down with what? A war. It’s what drives the galaxy-period. I’m guessing, though, Krayt may be Hett. Looking at the next couple of upcoming Legacy issues it looks like there has alot to do with Obi-wan and his time on Tattooine. But what ever, my money is on Hett for the time being.
