Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.

Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.

But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.

1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?

There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.

2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?

Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.

4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?

The answer will be revealed in issue 15.

Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .

My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.

Anyone want to take that bet?

Thats a good theory Waverider. I think Randy could of meant that Porkins thing to mean any character we least suspect of being DK. However Tank is starting to become more and more like DK to me. I read the Empire and Rebellion issues he’s in and in one of the Rebellion issues he is about to kill Luke but ends up not doing so. DK is for sure someone connected with Tatooine.

I agree. Still, I don’t think they would allow that to happen to Luke, considering who he is, and he already went to the Dark Side in Dark Empire. Or Jorin… there was an escape pod (that also could have been Tank).

Oh and also with the Tank theory, in numerous issues of Legacy they advertise the Rebellion series with Luke and Tank, even though it had been over for a while. Judging from Tank’s face and muscle, it looks like the Vong armor could fit. Plus, if he did escape in that pod, he would be pretty beat up; he could have met up with some Vong scouts or Nom Anor.

As much as I want to know, PLEASE DON’T POST WHO KRAYT IS TILL THURSDAY, SO I WON’T BE TEMPTED TO LOOK AT SPOILERS!!! In issue 12, they show someone suffering from the sabotaged Vong thing. He appears to have red hair. Could this possibly be a brother of Kol!?

I read this on another thread… Tekl Barje (the baby in Outlander 1 who’s parents get killed by Sharad Hett’s tribe.

maybe the kol who died on ossus was a clon and krayt is actually the real kol. this would explain how he gets cade to train as sith.

Could be… This probably means nothing, but in 14 when Hosk is talking to Cade, on his shoulder is a cut that looks like an insignia. >/ -together. I’m probably over analyzing this, but it just doesn’t look like a random cut.

I know they’re on the darkhorse/jedi council forums, but could someone try to get Duursema or Ostrander on here. These are the only message boards I can get into easily.

Don’t post Krayt’s identity till 900p.m or later.

( NO SPOILER) But…..What if…it is Kol Skywalker??? That would be one hell of a twist.
