Star Wars Legacy – Is Darth Krayt a Jacen Solo descendant? March 29, 2007

Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.
Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.
But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.
1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?
There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.
2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?
Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.
4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?
The answer will be revealed in issue 15.
Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .
My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.
Anyone want to take that bet?

Does this confirm Vergere is Sith, and of whose order?
where did they reference krayt? they said our master but thats it.
vergere……………. it looks like she is the whole key to it all. my guess is she trained krayt somewhat. i think her and cboath had something going on. i believe she trained jacen to destroy the sith krayt ruled over. vergere is alive. noone who falls in a pit is dead. look at ventress, she was believed killed alot. she is still out there.
noone actually saw vergere die. when she appeared as a “ghost” to jacen on ebaq 9 she was using the same power lumiya used in exile or sacrifice. the one where she can project her likeness to others far away. i bet vergere stayed on a ship until she could slip off quietly and prepare to teach jacen even more.
lets face it jacen is a bitch. he is very disappointing. he is in great need of a teacher.he cant touch luke, he is dumb as a rock when he plans attack and battles. he has the solo luck but he is weak.
what if jacen kills one of krayts sith believing he killed the leader. just a thought
I think that White Eyes is Darth Wyyrlok l. Krayt I bet is in stasis right now. That would be the most probable guess, however he could be still captured by the Vong (I am guessing there are still Vong not on Sekot who have worlds in the Unknown Regions and Wild Space under their control). Also note that Aleema said she stayed on Korriban for I think three days. She never revealed anything about what happened besides the conversation we know she had and that they gave her Vecticus’s (sorry about spelling) holocron and taught her new things about Ship. She probably didnt find out anything else important but she could have. I doubt Vererge and Lumiya planned Jacen to kill DK’s New Sith Order. Also they said Lomi Plo was sent out to get Lumiya but was captured. That was before 30 ABY!!!!!!!!!!! These Sith were active before DK took control of them. Who knows who could of got them altogther, it could have been Agent Blackhole and any other random Dark Jedi of the Empire. But most likely it was DK who probably had only a handful of sith or darksiders before 30 ABY and then when 30 ABY actually came he had his concept of the Rule of One formed and considered him and his Sith a true Sith Order.
what about the potential jedi who went with the chiss at the end of survivors quest?

am i the only one who wonders what authors are gonna do about immortality?
zahn started blind so dont blame him, but in ep3 and ep 6 we learn that yoda, ben vader, and qui gon have become immortal as well.
this opens a big assed window to bring them back in books. im not talkin anything crazy but they could speak with luke and give him guidance. please people think about this. this is a needed change.
their teachings could make luke even more powerful and if you read inferno then you know thats a scray thought.

402- Darth Who, I meant “Our Master,” who is undoubtedly Krayt/A’Sharad Hett (One Sith, etc.). I haven’t been on for a while, so I’ll just right my responses to ^ questions. White Eyes (considering how focused on he was) is probably Wyyrlok I. I agree, Vergere could still be alive. Also based on how they described Morto, apparently (not sure on this but I think I’m right) all/most “Sith” aren’t D. Maul tattooed*. Jacen isn’t exactly a “disappointment” as a sith (but in everything else he is), but whether or not he should be a sith has yet to be confirmed. Of course, sith were usually stupid jedi (like Dooku) who found a sith holocron, and re-began the sith. So even though Jacen was trained by Lumiya, who wasn’t a confirmed sith, he could still technically be a Bane-like one, even if Lumi wasn’t. And also, 406, I agree, but don’t put everything in caps.
*What’s with the tats? Is the New Sith Order supposed to be what D. Maul could’ve been? I mean, I think more is going on than just Hett. I’ve heard this somewhere: Is a well known character supposed to return in Claws of the Dragon; beside Hett? And for LotF, there is apparently another well known character returning. Was that supposed to be Alema or Aurra Sing? Or maybe Vergere… (and I thought this could be possible; on the inferno cover before I read it there was a Kashyyyk treehouse. I thought Chewie would return or something. Or maybe pulling annie solo out of the past to redeem Jacen, but than goes back, so he can fufil his duty that he died for).
Anyone read Lotj 8: Against the Empire? IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!!! These should be considered young adult books. The vocab is more advanced, and there is a lot of violence. The end is especially interesting.
where do u get last of the jedi books? i cant find them in borders.
