Mara Jade Skywalker didn’t have to die at the hands of Darth Caedus.
It was a wasted empty death…
Lucas Licensing apparently allowed this disaster to happen and now we should call on them to reverse it. The Sith have the power to bring back the dead and so too then does the Force.
Whether it is Ben or Luke Skywalker or even someone else I don’t care. I just want Mara Jade back.
To that end we here at ShowMeSciFi have started a petition to Bring Back Mara Jade.
Please sign in and together we can be THE FORCE that will bring Mara back.

Yes I would like Mara Jade back. Shes way too big of a caracter to be killed and I mean come on, she moves like sonic and could kill the entire Imperial army with out a wepon. I mean Luke is living past the Star Wars Legacy! Thats over 130 years after he was born! Luke will totally Turn to the Dark Side for what happened to Mara. Its no little School boys romance with Luke and Mara, I mean they will kiss every chance they get. Even if he is told he’s breaking the Jedi code. Come on Mr. Lucas, she captured by Darth Sidous himself, dont you think the Emperor would teach her to make clone bodies such as himself? He trained her for over 20 years., it must have been one of her first lessons. So Mr. Lucas bring her back and get that pipsqueak Darth Caedus killed by Luke himself. Oh and people will probaly lose the intrest for starwars so think twice.
Oh and almost forgot. Those idoits that say its not going to work are IDIOTS! Its going to work no matter what. I dont quit easy.

Raxus is right. I have read, watched, and played much on Star Wars and they can heal themselfs from posin. Even non Jedi can do it with certain medical packs that heal imediatly.
This was not an honorable death. See cant die from some stupid posin dart. I mean she is Mara Jade! There is no honor in her death. If shes gong out its ethier of old age or of Lightsaber and if she returns and she better!!!!!!, shes going out long after she returns and with Luke Skywalker!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow…it took some time before someone who was a Mara/star wars fan to realise what I’ve said….But, its true! Don’t go agaist something that has been said…Look it up on wookiepedia or (if you hate that site) look it up on Wikipedia! Word for word! =) (OH…PS. It’s Posion…Lol! I spell badly too!)
Yeah ! I agree with you guys- poison(posion) dart-ha-ha-ha- this is idiotism. One of the powerfull female Jedi- killed by dart. She is Jedi Master-Oh my God- that’s crazy,that’s stupid . We know that jedi can heal himself from many poisons and many other infections. And now- poison dart . I don’t get it! I think that i’m clever person – then i think someone is not so clever…..Shame on you peoples in Lucasfilm.

Guess what? Karen Traviss was hired to write a story in which a FICTIONAL character dies. Ergo, she was paid to kill Jade. Ergo, it would have been a violation of her contract to not do so, which would have been — dare I say it — wrong.

Don’t you ever take your anger about a FICTIONAL CHARACTER out on a REAL PERSON. Jade doesn’t have feelings, SHE DOESNT NEED YOU TO LEAP UP AND DEFEND HER HONOR. Particularly not by calling a successful (why do I think that’s more than we can say for you?) author a “stupid ugly whore”. Congradulations, you’ve officially moved into the category of people that make me hate Star Wars, and as a diehard fan for the past FIFTEEN YEARS(at least), that’s pretty damn hard to do.
