Mara Jade Skywalker didn’t have to die at the hands of Darth Caedus.
It was a wasted empty death…
Lucas Licensing apparently allowed this disaster to happen and now we should call on them to reverse it. The Sith have the power to bring back the dead and so too then does the Force.
Whether it is Ben or Luke Skywalker or even someone else I don’t care. I just want Mara Jade back.
To that end we here at ShowMeSciFi have started a petition to Bring Back Mara Jade.
Please sign in and together we can be THE FORCE that will bring Mara back.

I agree. A big change is necessary. In both EU and Mara’s death.

im watching the mythology of star wars now.
they are talking about the heros journey.
maybe maras death fills the loss of a mentor.she was always teaching ben.i hate to say it but they may have needed to do it. i know jacen being lost could also fill that role too but im just saying.
she will definitely appear in the next two books as obi-wan did in the trilogy.
EH-HEM…. For one…Jesus “H.” Christ…odd…..Two, why isn’t this petition one in which you just type your name and *maybe* say, “Bring Mara Back” or “Mara lives on” ??? That way we don’t have “Mara Jade Haters” yelling at us for being “dim-witted” or “Stupid” or my favorate so far “Cheese-Ball-Fan”….I don’t understan the “cheese-ball-fan” insult but, hey, it sounds offending….. Is there *any* way we can like “ban” and/or keep out the “Mara-Haters”??? Oh my Gawd I just had a….*pissstttt* (WHAT DO YOU CALL IT WHEN SOMETHING JUST POPS ITNO YOUR MIND THAT’S A BREAK-THROYUGH)… Anywhoo Leia, (in Exile) fell out of the ship and Luke threw his grapplie-thingie around her leg and pulled her in. Maybe that’s *part* of Jacens dream…

And DO NOT put anyone down because of it
Differences of opinion are healthy.
Please respect there point of view just as they should respect yours.
We all have our different opinions on the staw wars eu.
But we also should all be adult enough to put our differences aside
and figure out how to get lucasfilm and del rey to change there minds and to bring Mara Jade back.
We all agree we want her back so lets put our differences aside
and see if we can get this done.
Putting people down is not going to get her back.
So stop doing it and lets get this done.

Agree!! The most important thing is to bring Mara back. We must show to lucasfilm and del rey that they made mistake with her death!!
It does not matter already that they killed our lovely MJS-the did it and this is the most important thing in this case. I don’t care for their reasons-they have the power to kill Maraq and they did exactly this. Our job is not to argue one each other in this blog- our job is to show that Mara Jade must live, and most imortant- that there is a real reason for her return- So come on people!!! Our objective is clear- and we must complete it !!!

There is a massive saberfight between Luke and Jacen.
also Tenel Ka wises up to what Jacens become.
I thought it was a pretty good book.
If your a Jacen hater you should read this book.
althought i still think it will be Leia who finishes off Jacen.
she gets into a major fight with Tahiri and basically hands her ass to her.
I would love to see a saberfight between Leia and Jacen rather than a rematch between Luke and Jacen.
I also would love to see a rematch between Mara and Jacen.
Especially after what Jacen did to Ben.
Dont think will see it but witch rematch do you want to see more

oh my god. i hate it but shes gone. why bring back someone whos 50 yrs old when they could bring back a teenager named anakin. thats the petition we need.an anakin solo petition.

2 i think some people in here put on jedi robes or star fleet uniforms before they sit down at a computer.
3 my job is to sell real estate not get some fictional character brought back. she was an awesome character but shes gone. im sorry to be the bad guy but the 1 or 3 ubernerds need to accept it.

I don’t see a reason why we can’t have both back. This is fiction – everything is possible. Of course it would be a little bit more complicated to bring anakin back since he has been dead for – I don’t know – 100 books or so? Nevermind…. I want everybody to live happily ever after. 🙂
I would like to to see Mara and Luke against Cadeus and wiping the floor with his ass, but I highly doubt that it will happen. Actually I don’t care who is going to bring dear darth down, as long as he is smashed to pieces in the end I’m perfectly fine with it. *evilgrin*
