From the living dead department:
Just a few days ago the StarTrek.com development team announced that CBS had fired them all. CBS is now firing back claiming that even though they’ve fired staff StarTrek.com isn’t dead.
So who is going to do all the work?
Get this..they expect that StarTrek fans will by posting in the StarTrek.com forums. You know what i say to that? BOYCOTT STARTREK.COM!
Here’s the full release from CBS:

I bet It’ll be some lone guy doing all the work in the dark since they have no one left. As the saying goes; one cannot live without the other.
Supposedly Wizard Magazine fired most of their staff. Their solution? The BB guys. I love sci-fi/fiction etc. But most of the people who post on a bulletin board are idiots. They either hate everything or have idiotic suggestions (“Wolverine meets Mr Spock and the American Gladiators in Atlantis! Awesome! LOL! ; )) Looks like this is a trend that will continue so long as it saves them money. You should have the emotional age of at least 21 to be given that sort of responsibility. What a waste.
There still isent any thing new and its 2010 . Wankers
At least this explains why startrek.com is such a DEAD site. StarTrek-world cartoon-items for sale. Yeah, right. Like that’s what ST fans are interested in. They can’t even have a decent store to sell serious ST items at that site?! I thought ST was owned by Paramount. So, what gives? CBS & Paramount are partners? CBS bought Paramount? What’s the deal? CBS has been a DISAPPOINTMENT for a NUMBER of years in SO many ways that this is just one more ‘just like CBS’ type of thing. The way they treated the hero Jeffrey Wigand (see the movie ‘The Insider.’) The way they treated courageous Dan Rather. etc. etc.
