Basic cliched Stargate episode where the team is trapped and they need to get out.
Where the cliches break down though is with Dr. Keller (Jewel Staite).
She’s one BUSY woman…
First she hooks up with Ronon know she’s interested in McKay.

I think it’s the character’s underlying desire to fit in with the rest of the crew. Keller isn’t a “superhero” like Sheppard’s team, or a supersmart scientiest/doctor like McKay or Carson.
So far, it seems just a Doctor – and she’s trying hard to fit in.
I really enjoyed the banter between her and McKay this episode. Keller is coming out her shell a little bit. I think she makes a good foil for McKay, and would make a nice Close Friend for him – not a love interest.
