KITT had it right when he said, “Yes that Sucks.”
Not that the original Knight Rider was superb TV..but the new Knight Rider is just plain awful.
Weak plot, pathetic acting and worst of all…the voice of KITT was totally disjointed. The audio didn’t seem to come from the car but almost came of as a narrators voice. At least in the original the car and voice were connected. In this lame excuse for a TV show the voice is just there and not properly connected to the car.
That’s just poor production.
Yes the Mustang itself is cool, but beyond that there are no redeeming qualities to this show whatsoever.

yeah, the new knight rider was crap, lol the whole highlight of the film was seeing david hasslehoff near the end.

There was lots of good things in that movie and the WORST part was the connection to the Hoff.

Bad guys work for fictitious “Blackriver corporation.” (Blackwater is the actual company in Iraq hired for multiple purposes. Any similarities are purely coincidental?)
Bad guy tries to start a war and says “war is profit.”
Aside from that, the final action sequence has the Ford Mustang obliterating a GMC Yukon with nary a scratch. I swear this was a 2 hour car commercial for Ford. All the “cool” cars with good roles were Fords. The instant I saw the GMC Yukon, I said “the director is going to smash up that Yukon. “
We should to implement Trans-Am KITT’s chip to KITT 3000 writer’s brain. lol.
overall I liked the show and am looking forward to the next one. Sure the actors don’t know hot to act but KITT sure does. Sure the show is not as good as lost/heroes/BSG but it’s way better than bionic woman and sarah connor chronicles, cause unlike those shows I didn’t want to cry cause they were so bad. The only part that made me chuckle AT the show and not with it was when the soldiers with guns tun inside the lab, see some moving text and rotating 3d models and one of them says “wow I’ve never seen algorithms this complex” that was kinda retarded but otherwise KITT was so cool it made me ignore all the other weak points of the show which are more or less the entire part of the show that is not the car.

This remake -IS- an injustice to the original series. It doesn’t even compare. The Mustang is a nice car, but ITS NOT KITT! Its not about “The better car” its about staying true to the original. You wouldn’t remake Herby The Lovebug with a frigging Scion Shoebox, or remake Dukes of Hazzard with a Dodge Viper. So why butcher Knight Rider with a car that looks like fantard Photoshop? It makes ZERO sense and it alienates the hell out of the original fanbase. I’m gay, but the lesbian cops and the “Maybe that’s why 75% of marriages end in divorce” quip were too much, even for ME. (Maybe Fred Phelps will protest the show, that would be lulzworthy). I didn’t tune in to learn crap, I tuned in to watch a car TURBO BOOST over stuff and crash through some walls. NIETHER of these things occured throughout the entire 2 hours, so how can they call this KR?
This would’ve made a way better KITT, if only NBC waited.

I totally agree!! This new Knight Rider is nothing more then a Joke!! I was all excited when i heard they were coming out with a new show but come on this one is WAY OUT THERE… Kitt Turns into a Truck? Come on…. What a joke!! If you were going to bring back a classic show you should have based it off of the Old Series…
The young and the restless have a sports car sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No car chase no nothing and is that val kilmer as KITT. The shows central point is a car with super advanced technology that has super powers wtf you don’t get s## when it comes to performance even on screen. F**& the new knight rider.
