Stargate Atlantis producer Joe Mallozzi has a lot of ideas for Stargate Atlantis season 6.
While Season five episode 20 – the 100th episode for the show overall marked the series finale – it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way. Season five was supposed to be the gateway to a new awesome story arc of Season 6.
“It was also intended to be the launching point for a very interesting early season 6 scenario,” Mallozzi blogged. ” With Atlantis back on Earth, why the hell would the I.O.A. ever let it go? And if it remained, which, by all indications seemed likely, what would become of its occupants, especially Ronon and Teyla? Also, with a permanent station in the Milky Way, wouldn‘t Atlantis, logically, cease to be a launch point for gate travel and, instead, become a research center for Ancient technology? Well, I guess you’ll never know the answer to these questions…”
Actually we’ll find out some of them in the Stargate Atlantis movies – but still…Atlantis as a regular weekly series still apparently had a lot of gas left it in when Sci Fi Channel pulled the plug. What a shame.

I totaly agree, Ive bought the whole set and could get my eyes away, this must be the Sci-Fi series ive erver seen. The tecnology makes it as if real and the episode stories are very well thought out. Return my Stargate Atlantis to me an i will be eternally greatfull.
I must say that the Star Gate saga has been very interestin, also de Sg1 but the atlantis had a ttally new universe. Incredible series. We Love it
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF SciFI bring back Stargate Atlantis. The show rocked you never new what was gonna happen next. Story was all ways changing and something new was all ways happening. The actors played the parts great. And it was way better then this new stargate. One of the things about stargate was new adventure every week. On a different world or trying to save something. This new stargate everyone stuck on a ship every episode we are stuck,, mhm so much for getting off this ride. O yea that not forget they can get off but have to get back on or use those weird stones. Come on stop making us fans watch this and bring back a great show. ok lets get something strait here… SGU SUCKS!!!!! Either do a series with decent enoght sets or dont do it at all… i say end the dame thing…. bring the ship back to earth (or not… maybe some imediate danger to earth leads them to expedite takink kontrol of the ship… and then in the batttle it is destroid… or not) and for the love of stagate please end SGU and give SGA a chance to continue (or at the very least merge the two)… SGU has no where to go… i meen how much longer is control of the ship going to ilude them, cause not only is the argument getting old (ancient realy…) once they get control of it what happns then?!?!? there is noting…. no future no twist nothing so just give up… in closure developing the caractrs is all fine as long as you dont tell us there intire life day by day, i mean thats just staling… dont tell me youre out of ideas lool
If anyone on the world is like the nazis it is those people who cut off SGA or Stargate Atlantis with the end of Season 5. I mean what the HELL are we the viewer suppose to think, is Shepard and that Polish scientist DEAD!??????!!!! Did the Star gate system get destroyed???? Does MacCay and that guy from the original SG-1 end up on that planet full of DEVO rejects for the rest of their natural lives???

Whomever cancelled this at this point and time should be forced at gunpoint to grench kiss Osama Bin Lauden especially if the person who canceled the show at this point is a man!!!

Hey are the rumers true that season 5 of stargate atlantis episode 20 is over dose that mean that we have to wait half a year until it get back on chanel 7 two cus if so that just sucks so bad cus i don’t wanna have to try and find a way to bye season 6 cus all i can do is start from scratch cus all i have is collectors disks from 1-90 and I don’t wanna have to start from scratch.
You should bring back stargate atlantis season 6. There are alot of shows on now but, they suck big time. For example stargate universe is going down hill in my view point. With atlantis you have great storyline to it and loveable characters in it. Plus you left a cliff hanger over the show without ending it. If there is a reason why they did this is a movie that can tells us what happens. I know a lot of people were hoping that john and teyla would get togather. Alot of fans have stated this throw out the 5 season. why not give what the people want and make the next season and you might be surprise by the reaction to it.

i must say stargate atlantis’ has an incredible consistency in terms of bringing something new to it’s fan. season 6 would have continue to do; no doubt in my mind. i also have question i need answered, for example, what if the last of the replicators were discovered? and did the asgars ever over came they’re decaying clone cells about to be extinct problem and if the satellite found on the plate was intended for them?… i have to so many expectation for the new season that apparently isn’t coming but i will congratulate on successful airing of sg1 and atlantis… as far as sg universe it reminds me too much of startrek voyager. don’t get me wrong that’s the only star trek franchise i watch and i can’t wait to see how u guys pull sg universe off…
