It’s looking more and more like SGU – Stargate Universe will actually be more like a Stargate reboot than a continuation of the SG-1 and SG-Atlantis type of shows that we all know and love.
Don’t get me wrong though after 10 years of SG-1 and five of Atlantis change is a good thing.
With the G’ould defeated, the ORI toasted..all we’ve got left are the Wraith..and they can be beat.
So how will this show be darker/different? Apparently SGU doesn’t have all the answers — so no McKay or Carter – and the show is about survival.
The latest sneak peak trailer gives us a small taste…and it sure looks good to me.

No thanks, if I wanted BSG I’d download the eps.
But I wish the actors well. TPTB – not so much.

Actually, no. That’s a pretty retarded statement, it’s like saying “after 10 years of peace and prosperity, change is a good thing.” No, change is not a good thing when SyFy is involved.
Just let Stargate die already, it was amazing when given the proper budget and attention, but this is just propping up its corpse as a sad excuse for another BSG. It’s time to let it die.

you know what, have you actually watched it?
Theres only so many times you can repeat the same thing over and over. A change is a good thing. I’m fed up with carter and Mckay always being able to hack a pc in like 2 seconds. I like the way they have a nerd in it a mainstream actor and the fact its a lot darker. Literally. You can just shut your fucking faces and watch the fucker, which is what you’ll do anyway even if you slag it off.
