The US Postal Service is getting into the spirit this 30th anniversary year of Star Wars. Looks like they’ve even got a website planned : uspsjedimaster.com that is not yet active.

I wonder if that means they’ll also have Sith Stamps?

The real question is if they will make sound effects when you drop in the letter.

To KC:

Your tax dollars DO NOT go to the Postal Service. They are mandated by Congress to be self-supporting. All their income comes from postage.

That said, they didn’t deserve the last TWO postal rate increases. They waste money at a exponential rate. The biggest waste? They refuse to hold bulk mailers to a standard for their mail. They allow really stupid designs for flyers that slow down carriers on the street. You might not think it’s a big whoop, but makes my teeth peel when I have to deliver this crap. Wal-mart is the biggest offender.
