Mara Jade Skywalker didn’t have to die at the hands of Darth Caedus.
It was a wasted empty death…
Lucas Licensing apparently allowed this disaster to happen and now we should call on them to reverse it. The Sith have the power to bring back the dead and so too then does the Force.
Whether it is Ben or Luke Skywalker or even someone else I don’t care. I just want Mara Jade back.
To that end we here at ShowMeSciFi have started a petition to Bring Back Mara Jade.

I’m still waiting to wake up from this really depressing nightmare that Del Rey have forced upon me, but something tells me that might not happen.
What if George Lucas sanctions TWO EUs? One that is already happening, but a better one that doesn’t screw up the characters?
Or… am I just fishing for ideas?
(sigh) God, I hate Del Rey.
I’m signing. DEL RAY has do a job of messing a good series up. Too much killing of great charactors. The top of the list for me is Jacen Solo. Mara Jade could have been the charator the bring in new ladies to the fanclub. Why not try to cash in on that DEL RAY? I can’t wait to not buy the next series. Thank the gods for Clone Wars.
George Lucas won’t acknowledge doing anything wrong even in a second hand fashion by allowing them to change their C canon or whatever the novels fall into even though he’s stated more than once that he doesn’t care about the novels (despite using ideas from them for half of Lucasarts’ video game characters and what not.)
I tried to read some of the NJO, but I find I simply don’t have the stomach for it. Probably beacuse I hate Jagged Fel (I’ve wanted Zekk and Jaina to get together since YJK, and the fact that they didn’t REALLY pisses me off for some reason!)
But as for the new Fate of the Jedi series, I doubt I will want to buy it. To be honest, I’m seriously annoyed that many people are still buying this crap and raving about it on the forums.
I have been stuck in a nightmare since the first page of Vector Prime, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be ending anytime soon.
Is anyone else annoyed by where Jaina’s going? I am, but then again, I just really hate her boyfriend.
