That’s it. ShowMeSciFi.com is now officially done with Bionic Woman. This week’s episode ‘Trust Issues’ was yet another weakly plotted story that was poorly acted and directed.

It’s great that Jamie has a love interest – it’s dumb the cliched lines/scenarios they are put into. The death of Antonio in the mirror version of the plot is such a weak plot tool…it’s enough to think that this episode was written by scabs and not a member of the WGA.

The show started out with high hopes but it just hasn’t shaped up. Jamie’s use of Bionic’s isn’t properly played up with proper special fx or sounds, plots are weak and there isn’t proper overall large plot issues to make anyone want to really watch this show week to week.

Michelle Ryan is great – it’s unfortunate that the writers and the producers of this show have failed her – and her fans – so very miserably.

Adieu Bionic Woman – it was fun for a bit but now you’re just lame.

I know how you feel as I also gave up on the show two episodes ago. The last entry was the Education of Jamie episode where during the watching and writing of the review, I stopped before the fist act was over. Although the WGA strike will hurt a lot of shows, this one where I don’t care. Who knew Caveman was by far a much better show than the Bionic Woman.

I didn’t even make it to ep 7. I gave up as soon as the love interest was introduced in that episode with the mind control. I like you had such high hopes but even the stunts were poor quality and the writing was horrible. For as much as NBC hyped this show prior to the series premiere you would have thought they had a hands down solid gold hit. The bionic woman was a big disappointment for me. I guess now my Wednesdays are free for a little World of Warcraft.

I, too, thought that this show was going to be a blast – but it has failed miserably. I have tried to give it, time and time again, the opportunity to live up to the hype, erm, previews, but alas, no.

May be they should bring back Steve Austin – but I think that they would fail there, too.

Jaime doesn’t need to be in love and all the chick-flick things, she needs to be a strong woman who does the deed with impunity! Next she will be wearing pink spandex and her only plotline will be to make sure we dont see the panty line, come on NBC, you can do far better than this rubbish!

And they keep borrowing things from Galactica (Leobon in the previous episode, the room that Antonio and Jaime search was the same as the one where Kara Thrace was kept prisoner on New Caprica)

This show bit… seriously, and what potential there. I think the biggest problem was that the ‘evil’ bionic woman was a whole lot more likable… I mean seriously, when Katee Sackoff is on screen can you seriously look at anyone else, she exudes so much presence….

Maybe they’ll re-imagine the show again, and go with her as the lead. The show was called “THE” Bionic woman after all… they didn’t specify a particular one 🙂
