We’ve known since at least November that Jaina would be on the cover of the final book of the Legacy of the Force series.
Now the first images of the actual book cover are available and it looks to us that she’s going to have a showdown with her brother Jacen – Darth Caedus.
That is a confrontation that is – Inevitable – maybe that should’ve been the name of the book. Then again maybe Invincible refers to Jacen/Caedus….
Invincible’s release date is set for May 13, 2008. Amazon is already taking pre-orders on this the final installment of the Legacy of the Force – it’s a hardcover so it’s more dough than the paperbacks. Amazon currently has a neat offer though, they’re starting at 34% off list price and if you pre-order now they’ll give you an extra 5% discount. Sure beat paying full price the day it comes out..but i wonder if they’ll actually ship it to arrive on May 13th..

No, I don’t think Zekk will die, nor will he go to the dark side. I really wish people would stop picking on the poor guy.
Personally, I think he’s in a position to become the next badass light-side Jedi. Kind of like Qui-Gon meets Jack Bauer. Or is that a bit… I dunno… weird?
Hey zekk fan. I like Zekk in a way, but his character is like a sick puppy. Get over jaina. She isn’t the last woman alive in the galaxy. Jesus. But they could make his character very intriguing if they want to. But I got a feeling that Zekk isn’t getting out of this book alive. I actually hope that he turns dark in this book. Like I said earlier on this site, I hope Caedus ever so gently seduces Zekk to the dark side by using his emotions with Jaina and Jag.
Some more big names or so-so big names that bit the dust this series—Thracken Sal-Solo, Alema Rar, Forget his name but the former head of state, and who ever is going to die in Invincible-Tenel Ka, Jacen/Caedus, Tahiri, Jaina, Zekk, Jag, Allana? who knows. Maybe some other people we don’t know about. But with that said, there are going to be alot of “main” characters that die off in this series.
Death isn’t a real consern…I just want Lord Caedus to conquer his foes so he is able to start his rule over the galaxy. That’s what I want to read about as all this building of the new Dark Lord, I hope is about, the next ruler of the galaxy. We need this! We need Caedus to take control for a series of book and THEN we can talk about redeeming, killing, or sending to exile. But for now, we need Lord Caedus to succeed!

I agree with you completely Lord Memnoch. Only 2 1/2 days left. Still haven’t gone to the spoiler sites and I won’t. One big reason I not looking at the spoilers is becuz if I see that Caedus dies, I probably won’t read the book. But I think more than 75% of the people on this forum wants Caedus to “win.” So here is to you Lord Caedus—WIN, DESTROY, ANNIHILATE, CONQUER, and LET THE SITH RULE THE GALAXY ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!

What does the next series bring? that all depends on what happens in this last book. But coruscant nights comes out this summer along with a novel with luke right after return of the jedi timeline.
Happy readings to everyone. 1 day left. Yes, oh yes! Great talking to everyone about the books. But before I leave i must say this 1 last time: Lets go Lord Caedus, Lets go! Or maybe more precise, Lets go Troy Denning, Lets go–Let the dark side rule again.
Yeah man! Come 10:00 P.S.T I will be finding ” Invincable!” I have the day off and I can’t wait. I’m sure we’ll have some more to say after we read….Looking forward to this book and to talking about it after wards. I also imagin that we’ll have some sort of news as to when the next series will be hitting shelves.
Lord Caedus wasn’t built up this whole series just to be destroyed at the end! He will rule as the galaxy and the fans need this balance.
Lord Caedus, Dark Lord of the Sith/ Chief of State and Comander of the GA and Remnant Forces shall rule the Galaxy…and we shall have…peace….mmuuhhhhhaaahahhhhhh muhhaahahahh
I have read the Invincible spoilers, and all I can say is that I am so totally DONE with the EU! They have ruined my beloved characters for the LAST TIME!
This has been a sad and long story from the begining it started with obi won’s master then others then Anakin’s death and chewies and Thrawn was the best emp i have ever read about i also feel sad about Pelleon and i hate fucking tahiri she killed him and he was unarmmed the dark side will keep order in the end because there will always be darkness in the light you can’t stop it thats how it began… The Empire should take over to restore order if they were there when the yuzhan vong were they would slauter the vong and blow there ships to hell! but luke and his damn rebles fucked it up in the end theres your light side for you. what do you think about them now?
