We’ve known since at least November that Jaina would be on the cover of the final book of the Legacy of the Force series.
Now the first images of the actual book cover are available and it looks to us that she’s going to have a showdown with her brother Jacen – Darth Caedus.
That is a confrontation that is – Inevitable – maybe that should’ve been the name of the book. Then again maybe Invincible refers to Jacen/Caedus….
Invincible’s release date is set for May 13, 2008. Amazon is already taking pre-orders on this the final installment of the Legacy of the Force – it’s a hardcover so it’s more dough than the paperbacks. Amazon currently has a neat offer though, they’re starting at 34% off list price and if you pre-order now they’ll give you an extra 5% discount. Sure beat paying full price the day it comes out..but i wonder if they’ll actually ship it to arrive on May 13th..

I didn’t read any spoiler for Revelation, however I knew it was Daala simply because it was the first character that came to mind that they could scrape up from the bottom of the barrel for a “plot twist” the only thing I don’t understand however is where exactly she has this very advanced technology with which she can single handedly turn the tide in a fight? If she had access to prototypes, plans etc why didn’t she use them when she was ruling the remnants of the Empire, or during the Vong war or any time really in the twenty plus years since being loosed on the galaxy. As for her being associated with scientists capable of producing such weapons, I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to work with her given that the last bunch who did so got sucked down a black hole if I recall correctly lol.
i know this isnt the right pace for it but go see iron man. its such a good movie.
ive never seen gwenyth platrow look that good,having babies worked for her. my God.and the red hair…. i dont care if its a wig. hottest shes EVER looked
less than one week and we’ll know what happened to caedus.anyone wanna place a wager? i bet 100000 imperial credits that jacen is alive at the end. i also bet 10000000000000000 imperial credits that we wont be happy with the book in some way. hahahaha

Just saw iron man today. good movie. everyone who didn’t see it, go see it. And you are right. I never seen paltrow look so good. She looked so freakin cute it was unreal. Loved her in that blue dress too. mmm. haha.
I can’t wait for tuesday either. 6 more days left. HURRY!!!
Darth chebbis, As long as Caedus lives and lives as Darth Caedus it will be ok and will be happy to a point. But if they redeem or kill him, I will not be happy. Heck, Caedus can lose everything, but if he lives to fight another day-another series being the villian-still be very happy.
Maybe Caedus will lose the GA, but in return take over the new Imperial Remnant.
If Caedus losses the GA, he will loose Corisaunt and that is not what he need to happen. Lossing the GA will mean that Lord Caedus will have to start all over and he won’t have the appeal to the public of Corisaunt. I see the Dark Lord crushing the reminants of the GA under the rule of the fish Mon Cal Naithal. I can’t wait to read about that fools demise. In order for Caedus to succeed, he will need the GA and the Remnant under his control. It would be most unfortunate to to find that, with all the hard work and sacrafice, that Caedus looses anything. It’s time for the Sith way to rule the galaxy! I don’t feel that anyone NEEDS to die in this book as this series if chalk full of the losess of many great charactors. I need more depth! I’d much rather read that Caedus makes them suffer that just eliminating them, ESPECIALLY that fool Naithal, I might not mind reading about Lord Caedus cutting all here limbs off before the final blow. A Sith Lord will needs the oposition to stay strong.

i wonder who fights tahiri. is it ben? does she live? if ben fights her i dont think she’ll die. hes so sick of death you can tell he isnt a killer unless its necassary..yet
zekk is gonna go bad i think. itll be jaina and ben vs him. he’ll kill jag after jaina is pregnant. maybe while she gives birth. maybe tahiri joins him and they make her the master in a few seris from now.
the writers have at least gotten to force user vs force user. itll stick around for a while i hope. nothing against some of the old books after all without zahn we wouldnt have thrawn or cboath or mara jade. stackpole gave us corran horn. but the rest of the pre vong books are now pretty weak in comparison.
jacen will die i think. hope not but………………………………….
who died besides lumiya and mara jade? thats the only big names i can think of..

Gil and Vergere
Well Vergere was well before this series but, still, there has been a great deal of losses and not just main charactors. Lost of charactors with actual names and not just 10’s of thousands of nameless being lost in wars but, actual charactors with back stories. Losses are nessasary, I agree, but we’ve had our fair share and I would hope that a little more is put in to developement and not write offs. I still stand firm on my statement about killing Naihal as she has betrayed Caedus, foolishly, and must pay the consequences.
May Lord Caedus punish his foes and grow closer still to his full mastery of the Dark Side of the Force.
