Stargate Atlantis producer Joe Mallozzi has a lot of ideas for Stargate Atlantis season 6.
While Season five episode 20 – the 100th episode for the show overall marked the series finale – it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way. Season five was supposed to be the gateway to a new awesome story arc of Season 6.
“It was also intended to be the launching point for a very interesting early season 6 scenario,” Mallozzi blogged. ” With Atlantis back on Earth, why the hell would the I.O.A. ever let it go? And if it remained, which, by all indications seemed likely, what would become of its occupants, especially Ronon and Teyla? Also, with a permanent station in the Milky Way, wouldn‘t Atlantis, logically, cease to be a launch point for gate travel and, instead, become a research center for Ancient technology? Well, I guess you’ll never know the answer to these questions…”
Actually we’ll find out some of them in the Stargate Atlantis movies – but still…Atlantis as a regular weekly series still apparently had a lot of gas left it in when Sci Fi Channel pulled the plug. What a shame.

As a development i like sgu but i allways feel it is a step back from sga and sg-1, with SGA i feel the francise cheated us out of interesting stories for well i dont even know!
THERE is loads of space for story development and definetly the cancelation of SGA has created a market-demand Niche that in my eyes SGU does not fill
So fill it before someone else does (eg rumors for new alien/space shows are allready outhere when they come out i hope SGU does not collapse along with an amazing francise)

Come on we all know that they put a tv show on like SGA OR SG1 that is so great and awsome, they will cancel it because everyone loves it but put a show on like SGU which in my opinion takes the very heart out of the two earlier greatest shows ever and it will play forever. SGU to me is a show of a bunch of ungrateful whiney people who do nothing but cry all the time about wanting to go home, for real who would actually want to leave an ancient ship on the other side of the known universe, PLEASE. STARGATE ATLANTIS NEEDS TO RETURN, THERE IS SOOOO MUCH THAT IS LEFT UNDONE AND SOOOO MUCH TO BE DONE, WHY MUST THE POWERS THAT BE THROW IT ALL AWAY!!!!
Yes I want Stargate Atlantis back too, and I hate that they cancelled our show for crap like SGU. Might ask, have you signed the petition to save Stargate Atlantis?

Yes, create the movie as a go-between. WE WANT OUR SGA !!!!! Throughout the years, i valued SGA even better than SG1. (never thought i would).
Now there are no more great SF series.

I MEAN STARGATE UNIVERSE IS MOST DEFENITLY NOT A WORTHY SUBSTITUTE…. STARGATE ATLANTIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SERIES I´VE EVER SEEN IT SHOULD BE ALOWED TO CONTINUE….
HONESTLY WITH THE CRAPTASTIC REVIEWS THAT SGU AS BEEN GETING IT SUPRISES ME THAT IT HASENT ALREADY BEEN REPLACED BY OUR BELOVED SGA! SGU IS CRAPY. I MEAN THE CARACTERS ARE ALWAYS FIGHTING AMONGST THEM SELFS AND WHY IN THE HELL HAVE THEY BEEN IN THAT SHIP FOR SO LONG AND NOT YEP FIGURED OUT HOW TO OPERATE IT. AND THE LEAD CARACTERS HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO SENSE OF HUMOR WHAT-SO-EVER I MEAN SGU AS DONE NOTHING BUT DISGRACE SG SAGA…. BRING BACK SGA!!!!!
PS: GIVE DR MCKAY 20MIN ON THAT SHIP FROM SGU, WITH THE ANCIENTE STONES AND HE´LL PUT TO WORK AND BRINK THOSE ANGREATFULL LOSERS HOME
