Stargate Atlantis producer Joe Mallozzi has a lot of ideas for Stargate Atlantis season 6.
While Season five episode 20 – the 100th episode for the show overall marked the series finale – it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way. Season five was supposed to be the gateway to a new awesome story arc of Season 6.
“It was also intended to be the launching point for a very interesting early season 6 scenario,” Mallozzi blogged. ” With Atlantis back on Earth, why the hell would the I.O.A. ever let it go? And if it remained, which, by all indications seemed likely, what would become of its occupants, especially Ronon and Teyla? Also, with a permanent station in the Milky Way, wouldn‘t Atlantis, logically, cease to be a launch point for gate travel and, instead, become a research center for Ancient technology? Well, I guess you’ll never know the answer to these questions…”
Actually we’ll find out some of them in the Stargate Atlantis movies – but still…Atlantis as a regular weekly series still apparently had a lot of gas left it in when Sci Fi Channel pulled the plug. What a shame.

i think this is so stupid this show was great and i really liked it someone need to make them do a season 6

i agree the show really need’s a movie then they need to make a season 6
I don’t see why we the fans (and I guess there should be at least a few thousand of us around the world) shouldn’t use our people (FAN) power too get MGM or whoever to do another series (at least). Even some of the shows stars felt it could and should have gone on for a few more years yet. There were plenty of storylines that could have come out of Season 5. So come on every Stargate Atlantis fan out there – make your voices heard and lets see Joe Flanigan, David Hewlett, Kavan Smith, Rachel Luttrell & Co back on our screens again real soon. That doesn’t mean that they can’t make the films as well.

Noo plz dont die Stargate Atlantis!!! The Stargate Atlantis movie will be cool but still it is only 2h long. They should make season 6 because their are so many ideas left to try out and they left many questions with out a answer… I knew about the movie but I dident lost hope. This is a bad day First SG-1 and now Atlantis 😦

curious question? if Ronon and Teyla are stuck on earth then wouldn’t Todd the wraith be to, because wasn’t he a prisoner on Atlantis or was he still on ship? What happens to him?

no i think todd is still on atlantis, and they might just keep Ronon and Teyla on earth forever, and Teyla’s people i think are still on the world that atlantis took off? i don’t remember =/
I want to see Stargate Atlantis bought back as a weekly show and we the fans need to make sure that the powers that be who can do this know how we feel.So get writing, texting, emailing and lets get some action going.

i watch the first episode of stargate universe ( will not all of it) and not even 20minetes in the episode there was a bad part in it!!! cmon!!!! i mean sga or SG-1 didn’t have ALMOST nothing like that!
i just think that if you want people to like a show, you need to set limits to it, after that seen in sgu i thought great it’s going to be NOT like sga/sg-1 it’s going to be something else, other then the 2 best shows “sga/SG-1” will that what i think it is, don’t know for the rest of the sga /SG-1/sgu fans!
miriam, i don’t know if they will bring Atlantis back, i hope they do cause i don’t think they will be able to do whatever they are going to do in a 2hour movie, i don’t even know when or what the Atlantis movie is about xD
SGU is ripoff. It’s just like “Lost” only we have a SG. It is truly sad. I truly hope atlantis will come back, or i’ll be forced to remove scify off of my program list 😦
