Who is John May? ABC’s V is really picking up steam now with the emergence of the V Fifth Column. We have no idea who John May is, but no doubt he’s well hidden.

The whole Fifth Column thing was the biggest revelation in this third episode of the new V (official episode title is:A Bright New Day

It’s neat that the Fifth Column have member on board the NYC mothership – that was cool and unexpected.

But how did they convince Mary Faulkner to like the V’s? They connected here to their matrix/hub didn’t they? It’s some kind of drug that makes everyone happy.

Last but not least – how about Lisa (played by Toronto actress Laura Vandervoort??

No not a naked scene (this is ABC after all), but still that was …’interesting’.. especially since we now know hooking up with Tyler is all about pleasing her own mom – the leader of the ‘V’ s herself Anna!

Great theory, the scene of Anna giving “Bliss” is very cult-like. I was thinking when I saw all the Destroyer versions of their ships: “why woudl they need a 1000 destryers if all they have to do is sedate the population to pack them up for food or just domestication”. A space Navy to go and stop the V’s makes sense….will have to see….

John May is “John” from the original V series.

The V have the technology to clone human skin. Thus I would assume, that they also have the tech to create replicas of existing humans.
Thus Mary Faulkner may not be human nor the original anymore. Anna did ask for everything about her. As for the sleeper cells, the original cell that Tylers mom was onto was probably linked to the 5th column. Because why would V sleepers need human tech, unless they didn’t have access to their own.
And how does a V and a human produce a child? That is the real question.

Mike that is what they did in the original with the cloning so you are probably right. Remember how the clones the wrong hand to write!!

they were writing with the wrong hand because they had been brainwashed by diana not cloned. I am liking the new v so far… keep up the good work abc.

Yes that’s right. Thank you for the reminder. Need to go back and watch that again!

I love the first 4 episodes but I think that it could be more realistic if basic & simple questions were asked. Have you heared Chad (the journalist) to ask Anna about the whereabouts of the star they’re coming from?! Neither Erica asked Ryan about it in the 4th episode! Erica again should have asked about why the 5th Column is fighting against Anna!
All those questions are foundamental & haven’t been asked. And – of course – the most inproper thing said by Annas in the Vs very 1st arrival announcement was about founding no other sentient being in the UNIVERSE during their travels!!! Let’s point out that our Galaxy isn’t the whole universe…

whats with the voiceover? it sucks…it keeps breaking me out of being immersed in the story itself….rude intrusive and a bad bad bad idea

Haygis, that’s just tonights recap clipshow, normally there is no voiceover. I didn’t like it either, but I still have the first four on my TiVo so it was no biggy and used the time it was playing for email.

It could of also been like the thing that Diana did. That brainwashed people. Anna is pimping out her daughter like Diana did with that other kid. Of course Ryan the 5th columnist already got a bun in the oven.

There is no John in the first series…trust me…there is Mike Donovan and Tyler who are the leaders, then there is julie, Robin and elizabeth (the lizard/child) who are the main female character…but there is no John!

John was the leaders of the V’s in the orginal series. I find this series to be interesting, but somewhat rushed. Things seems to happen too fat, and there is no suspence. Bring back Freddy Krueger!
