So Peter finally meets his real dad – and he’s a Secretary of some political dept on the other side (secretary of war?).
And why were the shape shifters after the other ppl’s brains, when they clearly knew where Peter was?
Makes no sense.

So the FBI has now finally realized that Simon is suspect zero and a major scum bag.
Huzzah.
And oh yeah, blue hand dude is back and you can’t escape fate.
Interesting episode but not at the same level of the last two episodes…heck we didn’t even see the double-agent Janis Hawk this time at alll!
Star Wars Powered GPS from TomTom – Yeah Darth Vader is going to give you directions. May 5, 2010

GPS voices are always a bit creepy don’t you think?
Wouldn’t it be great to get the Dark Lord of the Sith instead?
TomTom users now have that choice – which is reason enough for a Star Wars fan to buy a TomTom GPS.
The TomTom ppl have also now put together a behind the scenes video of them getting Vader to give the directions — it’s totally hilarious.
Star Wars: Legacy #47 The Sith Kill All Life on Dac. May 5, 2010

Make not mistake about it — the Sith of Star Wars Legacy show no mercy and no compassion to anyone.
Just look at what they do to Dac in this issue.
We didn’t like this issue — large parts of the story don’t make sense.
For example, how did the GA jump into the system undetected in the first place?
Also if the virus took a few days to wipe out the whole population – doesn’ t that imply that even those that escaped were still susceptible to the toxin? Making escape irrelevant right?

V – Hearts & Minds. What Are the V’s looking for? May 5, 2010

Ok after 11 episodes (with this week’s Hearts and Minds) we still don’t know what the V’s want with us.
I don’t think we’re just food for them this time around.
With the Live Aboard program, we know see that the V’s like sticking a whole lot of needles in humans – sure that could be some kind of food thing or is it something else?
We just don’t know. And we also have yet to see a completely unskinned V either – in full Lizard get up.
Interesting episode though overall, though we have no idea why Anna didn’t put humans on the shuttle instead of the bones. After all, she has no regard for human life so why not put humans on the shuttle?
Doctor Who – Starship UK powered by the Beast Below May 3, 2010

Wow another fine outing for Matt Smith in the second episode of his young tenure as the new Doctor Who. (if you missed the episode it’s available on Amazon at: The Beast Below)
The basic premise of Starship UK is not totally unique, but being powered by the starwhale with the whole voting booth thing was kinda neat.
Even more interesting is how Amelia Pond was the only one that figured out that the Whale was just trying to save the children..while the Doctor was being a total jerk..nice.
The only mystery though is how did Elizabeth X know that that Doctor was coming? (and keep an eye out for him?) Or was she just looking to see if anyone at all was noticing the sheep had no vibrations?
Stargate Universe – Eli, Chole and Lt. Scott – Lost in Space?? May 2, 2010

Lost was another Stargate Universe Episode that defied expectations.
As opposed to SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis – Scott, Chole and Eli didn’t make it back to the gate in time – and they should have stayed with Greer.
Huh.
That was a shocker wasn’t it? So close and yet sooo very far.
The overlay of Greer’s issues with his Dad was a great foil to the background of the story – with one team searching for Destiny while Destiny searched for the team.
Somehow we don’t think that Eli will be lost forever – he’s too smart and will figure something out…won’t he?
After all Rush made his way back — and after barely an episode too.
