About

I read and watch alot of Sci Fi stuff. Mostly just on a whim and almost never from a review. I haven’t actually found good review sources that ‘work’ for me.

That’s where this blog comes in.

It’s my take on what’s good, what’s bad, what sucks and what’s awesome.

Hopefully it’ll help someone else out to figure out what they want to watch or read.

You have a great blog, but I haven’t seen you mention Doctor Who. You don’t like it?

Good blog. It you like Dr. Who, you need to get your hands on Torchwood which is a spin off of Dr. Who season 2. I downloaed all 13 eposides of season one via Bit Torrant. It is worth a look. A lot more adult than Dr. Who and a bit more risker to be shown on basic cable here in the States.

Very fun blog, man.

I second the vote for Torchwood, shame it’ll never get seen over in the ‘States.

I’d also suggest seeking out Hyperdrive with Nick Frost, which is a great show.

You and I seem to be taking a similar angle on our blogs…right down to the screen formatting. You’re much better at using visuals in yours…something I should work on. Good stuff…good luck!

Hi,

My name is Jenna Walsh and I’m an Affiliate Program Manager at Pepperjam Network. I’m wondering if you would be interested in participating in affiliate marketing with our Network. There are many merchants on our Network that would be perfect to promote on your site such as MGMStore.com. This store features Stargate Atlantis merchandise, which I think you can definitely take advantage of if you promote on your site. This program also rewards affiliates with up to 10% commission on all sales, respectively.

Do you think you’d be interested in this partnership? I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you,
Jenna

Hello,

I help run a portion of the online advertising of a growing video site. The site has a great mix of funny videos and entertaining videos for everyone.

Anyway, I am writing to you because I have recently viewed your site and am impressed with all of the helpful information. Your site has the potential of reaching out to a wide range of people! I would like to request to have our site posted on your site, by way of paid contextual link advertisement. Let me know how much it would cost me to have my link placed on your main page, or other related internal pages.

I’d be delighted to receive a follow up from you. Please contact me at your earliest convenience so we can further discuss this interesting business opportunity.

I know this doesn’t really qualify as SciFi per se, but what do you think about a Six Million Dollar Man movie? It’s risky to redo old TV shows (Speed Racer, Land of the Lost) but some movies did do their television counterparts justice, like Charlies Angels or Mission Impossible. Would you like to see Steve Austin on the big screen. If so, I think they should do it while Lee Majors is still alive so he can do a cameo. I’m waiting to see how the A-Team does.
