Yeaah we’re fans of the new Dynamite Buck Rogers series.

The latest issue #9 starts off a new story arc where we get more insight into the status of Earth.

You see in this version of Buck Rogers, Earth isn’t ruled by just one unified group. There are rulers of the ground, the underground (the weirdos with Nukes that Buck destroyed last issue) and the airlords of Han.

Our sister site, ShowMeSciFiComics.com has a review of the issue #9 up now.

Every Wednesday new comic books ship to stores across North America.

While there are a lot of interesting books for Scifi fans, our sister site – ShowMeSciFiComics.com – has a weekly list looking at the ones that fans are likely to graviate towards.

This week there is a new Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic trade paperback, a Farscape comic, new Doctor Who, new Battlestar Galactica 1980 and oh yeah the debut of STAR TREK CAPTAINS LOG SULU #1 – which gives us a Captain Sulu of the USS Excelsior tale.

Check out the full week in SciFi comics preview here.

There are so many layers of plots and sub-plots in Star Wars Legacy – sometimes it’s hard to keep them all straight.

One of the most interesting  – and the one that always has the biggest ships and the biggest battles are the plotlines/issues with Gar Stazi and the Galactic Alliance.

This is a sort of in-between issue that keeps the overall plot moving – stazi gets shot at and perhaps more importantly there is a link-up btwn the Alliance, the Jedi and the Imperial Knights led by the true Emperor Roan Fel.

The art – as always is astounding though this time we can’t credit our usual illustrator –

Starting with this comic – we’re officially launching our ShowMeSciFiComics subsite – just for comic reviews. We’ll still review them here – but we’ll just do the longer versions over there.

As well look on Showmescificomics.com for our take on what to look for in SciFiComics each and every week.
