Star Wars Legacy – Is Darth Krayt a Jacen Solo descendant? March 29, 2007

Star Wars Legacy which has often been reviewed here on ShowMeScifi is one of the best comic books today and likely the best Star Wars comic book series ever created.
Set far beyond any other Star Wars series -the only lineage connection we’ve had so far is Cade Skywalker – a descendant of Luke.
But what about other Star Wars family trees? Dark Horse Editor Randy Stradley recently tackled that topic in a letter to the editor q&a.
1. Are we going to learn what happened to the Solo family of this time?
There are no plans for an exploration of the Solo lineage for the forseeable future. We’re not in denial about them, it’s just that there isn’t a place for them in the story. Yet.
2. Any chance of running into any other descendents of of any other Star Wars Characters?
Oh yes my friend. Oh, yes.
4. How long are we going to have to wait until we learn who Darth Krayt is under the mask?
The answer will be revealed in issue 15.
Jacen Solo is set to become a to be named Sith in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy of the Force Sacrifice book .
My guess is that Darth Krayt is a descendant of Jacen Solo.
Anyone want to take that bet?

why would it confirm who revy and maly are? I’m gonna check that out… and i thought fury didn’t come out till feb.
Idk it just does though. Revelation comes out in Feb, Fury came out Nov 27.

Has anybody seen the preview for Legacy issue #18? OMG !!! It shows DK encountering the Vong in a small space battle and then fighting them onboard one of their capitol ships. It is amazing!! Here is the link for it

I think that they may make a book about DK. The preview featured little dialogue or what DK was thinking when he got in that little battle with the Vong. A book could cover all of that including his training under Xoxaon (sorry about spelling). They most likely will make a book about him. Has anybody got Fury and The Essential Guide to the Force? I recommend both of them. Has anybody heard about that new Clone Wars series? It is supposed to be on Nickledonian (sorry about spelling) or something. The trailer for it is pretty sweet.
Darth Krayt, born A’Sharad Hett, was a Human male who served as a Jedi Knight in the waning days of the Galactic Republic. The son of legendary Jedi Knight Sharad Hett, he eventually became the Padawan of Jedi Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi, and later, An’ya Kuro. During the Clone Wars he served the Republic as a General, and established himself as a charismatic leader who often led his troops from the front. He eventually became friends with the young Anakin Skywalker and helped Anakin come to terms with the destruction which had been wrought by the galaxy-wide war. He managed to survive the Clone Wars, and was one of the few Jedi known to have escaped the Great Jedi Purge.
A’Sharad Hett eventually made his way back to his homeworld of Tatooine where he vowed to wage a private war against the new Galactic Empire. However, he eventually fell to the Dark Side and at some point later on he proclaimed himself Dread Lord and Dark Lord of the Sith, taking the name Darth Krayt. As Krayt, he became the founder and leader of the new Sith Order. In addition, he was the first Sith Lord since Palpatine to rule the entire galaxy. For unknown reasons, perhaps to extend his life, Krayt began wearing Yuuzhan Vong-bioengineered Vonduun armor, and kept his identity secret even from most of his own Sith followers.
In 18, do they explain why krayt is sorta paying homage to maul with the red sith?

Legacy #18 shows that DK received the same torture sessions as Jacen does at the hands of Vererge (sorry about spelling). She is even in the issue. Jacen Solo is finally mentioned to. It looks awesome.
