Mara Jade Skywalker didn’t have to die at the hands of Darth Caedus.
It was a wasted empty death…
Lucas Licensing apparently allowed this disaster to happen and now we should call on them to reverse it. The Sith have the power to bring back the dead and so too then does the Force.
Whether it is Ben or Luke Skywalker or even someone else I don’t care. I just want Mara Jade back.
To that end we here at ShowMeSciFi have started a petition to Bring Back Mara Jade.

can we start a petition to ban karen traviss from writing star wars books? she is horrible and boring. and who says she alone is allowed to explore the mandalorians? let zahn have a crack at them and let him kill off mirta gev. its only right. that bitch kills mara so zahn should kill off one of her boring creations.

It would be a waste of good character development.
I also heard a wild rumor going around that Anakin Solo
will also make an apperance.
If they can find a way to bring him back without it appearing cheesey

I want Karen Travis ban fron the writers of SW. She stinks. She only makes desasters that the other writers have to mend or at least take another way to save the whole story. Recover Mara Jade putting down the Sacrifice book and start again the serie since Exile like another paralel world were the things go right.
Pleassssssssssse, put Timothyt Zahn to write a paralel Legacy of the force, Zahn´s Branch and make all of us happy!

Yeah, I’m looking forward to Invincible. Looks like it’s shaping up to be one hell of a fight! Up until now, most of Jaina’s story seems to have been focused on Zekk and Jag. I’m just glad that she’s starting to move on. And by the looks of it, the boys are too. Although Zekk might need a bit of a tune-up after that dark side episode on the asteroid.
By the way, in Fury I got the impression that Jaina and Jag were just friends now. Do you suppose that the shippers are just being too hardcore with their beliefs?
Anyway, I still miss Mara Jade Skywalker.
Darth who you’re an ignorant fool karen traviss is an excellent author and you are making it sound like it was completely her choice to kill mara all three of the authors made the decision not to metion i’M sure that lucas and del ray had to let them do it and it’s not completely her fault that they are dead and if you are so sick of her good writing why don’t you get off your lazy ass and write a book
Actually, I was so bored without Mara, that I picked up a couple of Traviss’ clone war books…and they are GOOD! Nice plot, true to Star Wars that we love, and they are well connected to the ongoing Fett stories (actually I’m anxiously waiting for the sequel now!). I think Traviss did an excellent job creating the mandalorians, their language, culture etc, a little side trip just like with the Rogue Squadron series. That doen’t mean that I don’t want Mara Jade back!

I understand the reason why Mara had to die, but of course, I don’t like it. Reading the last part of Sacrifice was really difficult for me, but it’s not going to stop me from reading Star Wars books. I wouldn’t object to the authors bringing Mara back, but if they don’t, I would love for more books to be written with Mara as a character in them. Everyone must die, and we don’t have to like when they die, we just would all love more books with Mara in it. At least that’s something many of us agree on.
