stargate.atlantisStargate Atlantis producer Joe Mallozzi has a lot of ideas for Stargate Atlantis season 6.

While Season five episode 20 – the 100th episode for the show overall marked the series finale – it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way. Season five was supposed to be the gateway to a new awesome story arc of Season 6.

“It was also intended to be the launching point for a very interesting early season 6 scenario,” Mallozzi blogged. ” With Atlantis back on Earth, why the hell would the I.O.A. ever let it go? And if it remained, which, by all indications seemed likely, what would become of its occupants, especially Ronon and Teyla? Also, with a permanent station in the Milky Way, wouldn‘t Atlantis, logically, cease to be a launch point for gate travel and, instead, become a research center for Ancient technology? Well, I guess you’ll never know the answer to these questions…”

Actually we’ll find out some of them in the Stargate Atlantis movies – but still…Atlantis as a regular weekly series still apparently had a lot of gas left it in when Sci Fi Channel pulled the plug. What a shame.

All of the SG shows were great, my wife and I are more disappointed than ever. To hear that it is over. I just don’t understand why great shows like this always end when they have so many long term fans following.

They shouldn’t just think of themselves, but think of all of us out here that enjoys going home on a Fri night to relax from life and escape in Stargate Atlantis shows. They were all great ( the episodes) and perfect story plots. You shouldn’t give up on the show SCI FI just because a certain writer decides not to write anymore scripts, but instead you should find another writer that will keep up on our toes.

Only makes me want to state the following comment:

Want to buy more stargate atlantis, so far the most epic sci fi in my eyes, i cant believe great runnign serries like [startrek enterprise] and now [stargate atlantis] get killed because the story whas maybe be getting to good. Its like “Oh no, we might have to make 3 more seasons of this. QUICK lets kill the show”

Overal very dissapointed!

I am highly dissapointed! I only became interested in the Stargate Atlantis shows in January, I broke some bones and was stuck in bed, I watched one episode while having nothing better to do, somewhere in season two and instantly got hooked! I bought all four seasons and I watch them over and over, I am now waiting on season five to come in the mail. I can hardly wait and now I find out that season six has been cancelled? This is a great series, why do they have to cancel? That’s really too bad.

I cant belive they have DONE it again . Just as the ori were getting really interesting in SG-1 with extremely advanced tech, they wrapped it up in a couple of hours .

The way the previous Ori episodes were going in SG-1 was like the were building up to really great battles, and then SNIP ! they cut it .

I cannot fathom why shows like ” [ Insert Country ] has talent ” or Big Brother , ” [ Insert Country ] Next Top Model ” are still on air, and one of the greatest SciFi shows ever gets cut !

Its so unbelievable ! Click on the link below and see the list of TOTAL P*SH thats on while SGA gets pulled . You wont believe it .

I just wanted to add my two cents to this, and say what a shame! Time and time again you hear, that another show gets cancelled because of some excuse that has to do with the production, or the writers, etc. I find it hard to believe that it, meaning the show really has to do with the fans what so ever! If that were the case, you would see alot of shows still on the air. Instead we are being fed countless new reality shows, crappy sit-com’s, and dancing and singing disasters that keep filling up our screens, with lower ratings. So then I ask, does it have to do with ratings? I wonder… . if I had to take a guess, I would say that SG1 or Atlantis had a huge following, with a very dedicated audience, so maybe not the ratings. Could it be another show, yes we are being baited again with Stargate Universe, well sure lets start a brand new series with new actors and feed us for 4 or 5 more years and then cut that show again. It doesn’t take a engineer to figure out that if something isn’t broke don’t fix it, well SG1 and Atlantis were not broke, but I guess the powers at be needed to fix it anyway… . Maybe its them who need to be fixed… . Thank you for your time… .

Reality TV = No Actors Fees, No Writing Staff Fees, No Set and Props to Build .

It’s just pure greed ! . They dont care whats on TV , as long as they get paid as much as possible from the absolute smallest production budget .

Someone said this to me when i was telling him abount SGA Cancellation.

” It used to be the TV Companys and employees “Worked For The Viewers” . Now the viewers work for them, FOR FREE !.

Reality TV shows have totally destroyed TV, and it does not look like it will be revived any time soon .

Hi. I’m from Romania and i’m a big fan of Stargate; I hope that this isn’t the end because it’s a wonderful series and all the fans and the movie itself deserve better.
