Stargate Atlantis producer Joe Mallozzi has a lot of ideas for Stargate Atlantis season 6.
While Season five episode 20 – the 100th episode for the show overall marked the series finale – it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way. Season five was supposed to be the gateway to a new awesome story arc of Season 6.
“It was also intended to be the launching point for a very interesting early season 6 scenario,” Mallozzi blogged. ” With Atlantis back on Earth, why the hell would the I.O.A. ever let it go? And if it remained, which, by all indications seemed likely, what would become of its occupants, especially Ronon and Teyla? Also, with a permanent station in the Milky Way, wouldn‘t Atlantis, logically, cease to be a launch point for gate travel and, instead, become a research center for Ancient technology? Well, I guess you’ll never know the answer to these questions…”
Actually we’ll find out some of them in the Stargate Atlantis movies – but still…Atlantis as a regular weekly series still apparently had a lot of gas left it in when Sci Fi Channel pulled the plug. What a shame.

yeah they muffed up big time not making a sixth season and just when its majorly catching on
Well, I can say, i watch the first 5 seasons, and enjoyed them, and a few of my Syfy friend where just getting into the Show. It is tuff for me to believe they pulled the plug. I felt this would have been a Big time Show on it’s 6th Season. Now I’m not so sure about the movie, they didn’t let the fan Base grow anuff, and the 6th Season would have done it. O well, time will tell.
it is a shame, they should make season 6, i want to know what happened to every and what they are going to do on earth!,
I loved this series. The story stoped short when it sseemed like their was more that would happen!
It makes me angry to know that there’s no season six, so many great idea’s and characters flushed down the drain now :o(
I really hate when things like that happen…you get into a show then the rug was pulled right out from under your feet.
Need to bring back Atlantis at least one more season. The end of season 5 left everybody hanging. Shakes my confidence in the Sci-Fi channel. Oh well there is always the Cash Cab on Discovery!
Alright This Show was My Favorite…it was the only tv show i watched, I love the Characters…the chemistry…and the plot!!

yeah my favorite show to i really wish that they would have made season 6 or 7 dose’nt matter but they should make it,
i herd that they are going to make a movie they year but i don’t know when, if they do they better continue the season’s that would be cool, and i don’t know why they are going to make a movie i bet the movie is going to continue like sg-1 they made like 4 movies already why not just end the show or make a anther season??

the show was on my favriots list right under sg-1 and i cant belive it what happens to talya and ronen and rodney and evrey 1 else.

I never watched SG1 but loved SGA and was starting to watch SG1 but I dont like supporting franchises that care so little about the fans to end a series when it was getting good then shove some Cheaper to produce spin off as a consolation…
SG-? producers you suck At least give it one more good season to tie up loose ends and the fans some warning. I wont buy the DVD and i hope everyone else steals it online in protest to u greedy bastards

to the producers of star gate atlantis why spoile a good thing you could make so much money if you keep it going and after all thats all your in it for will keep an eye out for your next projects and avoid them bring back s,g,atlantis and take it to season 10 atleast
yes! or atleast 7 to 8 seasons would be good enough for me! or maybe 10 seasons like sg-1 that would be pretty great?!?!?!?!
i just hope that when they make sgu they DON’T make it better then sg-1 or sga or they do soo sooo good with sgu that it’s a never ending show or they just make over 15 season’s “never herd any show that made over 10seasons” LOL!!
i just hope that if they make the sga movie that they have to bring back sga seasons,
let’s all hope it’s not like sg-1 they keep on makeing movies because they just can’t drop the show “or movie or whatever you wanna call it”
